연구 목적: 본 연구는 미디어 리터러시를 적용한 플립러닝 기반 온라인 탄뎀 모형을 개발하여 외국인 대학생들의 글로벌 의사소통 능력을 향상시킬 수 있는 실제 적용 방안에 대한 제언을 하는 데에 목표를 두고 있다. 연구 방법: 교사와 학습자를 대상으로 플립러닝 기반으로 한 온라인 탄뎀에 미디어 리터러시를 적용하는 것에 대한 설문조사를 실시하였다. 연구 내용: 그 결과를 바탕으로 온라인 탄뎀에 플립러닝 적용의 가능성, 전문적이고 공식적인 학문적 주제 포함의 필요성, 학습자 간의 친밀감 형성과 상호작용의 부족 문제의 해결방안 마련 방법 강구 등의 시사점을 제안하였다. 결론 및 제언: 연구 결과, 1) 플립러닝을 탄뎀으로 확장하여 선학습의 중요성을 확인하였다. 2) 탄뎀에 플립러닝을 접목하여 탄뎀 활동 준비에 대한 학습자의 부담을 덜고 학습 구성에 대한 구체적인 가이드로 효율성을 극대화한다. 3) 플립러닝, 온라인 탄뎀, 미디어 리터러시의 절충적 교수 방법으로 학습자의 다양한 요구에 맞는 맞춤식 교육 방안을 마련할 수 있다.
Abstract
This study aims to develop a flipped learning-based online tandem model that applies media literacy to suggest practical application methods that can improve the global communication skills of foreign university students. In the study, the investigator conducted a survey on the application of media literacy to the online Tandem based on flipped learning for teachers and learners. The survey results offered several implications for the applicability of flipped learning to the online Tandem, another need to include professional, official, and academic topics, and measures to solve issues regarding the establishment of intimacy among learners and the lack of interactions among them. first, flipped learning was expanded through Tandem and confirmed the importance of prior learning; secondly, flipped learning was incorporated into Tandem to reduce the burdens on the shoulders of learners to prepare Tandem activities and maximize its efficiency as a specific guide to learning organizations; thirdly, eclectic teaching methods among flipped learning, online Tandem, and media literacy can devise educational plans customized according to the diverse needs of learners.
