연구 목적: 이 연구는 봉사학습 참여 학생들의 인식 및 태도의 변화가 봉사학습 참여 전･후에 어떻게 변화하는지를 살펴보았다. 연구 방법: 봉사학습 참여 학생을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하여 이에 대해 양적 분석을 실시하였고 질적 분석으로 보완하였다. 연구 내용: 봉사학습 참여 후 학생들은 참여동기, 진로계획, 효능감을 포함한 개인 역량 및 지역사회참여 영역에서 긍정적인 방향으로 유의미한 변화를 보였으며, 고학년이거나 봉사의 참여 횟수가 많을수록 봉사 참여동기 및 봉사자 개인의 역량이 향상되었다. 결론 및 제언: 봉사학습 효과 검증을 바탕으로 봉사학습이 학생들의 진로계획에 가장 큰 영향을 미치는 점을 고려하여 봉사학습 기획과 봉사기관 선정 단계에서 대학은 학생에게 맞는 직무 역할이 무엇인지에 대해 신중히 결정해야 하며, 대학의 제도적 지원 방안 등을 새로이 제시할 수 있었으나 소수의 표본 등 연구의 일반화에 한계가 있어 이를 보완하는 연구가 필요하다.
Abstract
This study looked at how the perceptions and attitudes of students who participated in service learning changed before and after participating in service learning. A survey was conducted on service learning participants, and a quantitative analysis was conducted, which was supplemented with a qualitative analysis. After participating in service learning, the students showed significant changes in a positive direction in the areas of individual competence and community participation, including motivation for participation, career planning, and sense of efficacy. In addition, the higher the grade or the number of times of volunteering, the higher the motivation to participate in volunteering and the capacity of individual volunteers. Considering that service learning has the greatest impact on students’ career plans based on the verification of service learning effects, universities should carefully decide what job role is right for students in the service learning planning and service agency selection stages. Although it was possible to present a new institutional support plan for universities, there are limitations in generalization of the study, such as a small number of samples, and research to supplement this is needed.
