연구 목적: 본 논문은 치매환자의 가족들이 겪게 되는 신체적 부담과 정서적 부담 및 노인성 질병을 앓고 있는 치매환자가족을 위한 치매환자가족지원제도에 대한 연구이다. 연구 방법: 논문에서 이용되는 자료는 2차자료를 사용하여 국내문헌, 인터넷자료, 외국문헌을 참고해 분석하였으며, 치매환자를 돌보는 가족들이 겪게 되는 감정과 신체적 문제, 정서적 문제에 주목한 연구 방법이다. 연구 내용: 본 연구에서 치매 환자가 많다는 사실을 알 수 있는데 80세 이상 노인 4명 중 1명이 치매를 앓았던 것으로 밝혀졌고, 80~84세 20.1%, 85세 이상은 37.5%가 치매를 앓고 있음을 알 수 있다. 결론 및 제언: 치매는 예방도 치료도 어려운 질병인 만큼 가족들의 노력이 중요하고, 치매의 진행단계에 맞게 치매환자의 일상생활을 지원하고 가족지원제도를 적극적으로 활용하여서 경제적인 지원을 받아야 함을 본 논문에서 알 수 있다.
Abstract
This paper is a study on the family support system for dementia patients families suffering from physical and emotional burdens and senile diseases experienced by dementia patients families. The data used in the paper is a research method that uses secondary data to analyze domestic literature, Internet data, and foreign literature to pay attention to emotions, physical problems, and emotional problems experienced by families caring for dementia patients. This study shows that there are many dementia patients, but one in four elderly people aged 80 or older suffered from dementia, indicating that 20.1% of those aged 80 to 84 and 37.5% of those aged 85 or older suffer from dementia. As dementia is a disease that is difficult to prevent and treat family efforts are important, and this paper shows that it is necessary to support the daily lives of dementia patients according to the stage of dementia and actively utilize the family support system.
