치매 노인을 둔 가족의 부양의식과 부양부담이 가족관계 변화에 미치는 영향

본 연구는 치매노인에 대한 부양부담과 갈등이 가족관계 변화에 미치는 영향을 파악하는데 그 목적을 두고 있다. 연구를 통해 얻어진 결과는 향후 치매노인 가족의 부양부담과 소진을 경감 내지 해소시켜주기 위한 치매 노인복지정책에 많은 도움을 주고자 한다. 이를 분석하기 위해 부양의식이 부양부담에 미치는 영향을 파악하고, 이는 궁극적으로 가족관계변화에 어떠한 영향을 미치는 가를 고찰하고자 하였다. 분석결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 경제적 지원에 대한 부양 의식 수준이 높을수록 사회활동 부양 부담 수준이 높아진다고 나타났다. 둘째, 도구적 지원에 대한 부양 의식 수준이 높을수록 정서적 부양부담과 재정적 부양 부담은 낮아지는 결과가 보였다. 셋째, 신체적 부담이 높을수록 신체적 소진이, 사회활동 부담이 높을수록 정서적 소진이 높아졌다. 마지막으로, 정서적 부담이 높을수록 신체적․정서적 소진이 높아졌다. 이러한 신체적․정서적 소진이 높을수록 가족관계 변하에는 악영향을 미침을 알 수 있었다.
Abstract
This research was to analyze how the care burden and conflict with the elderly with dementia would affect the changes of family relations. For this analysis, we intended to figure out how the care awareness would have the effects upon the care burden and finally how it would have the effects on the changes of family relations. As the results of analysis, it was shown that the higher the level of the care awareness on the economic support was, the higher the level of the care burden on the social activite s became, and that the higher the level of the care awareness on the instrumental support was, the lower the emotional care burden and the financial support burden became. The higher the physical burden was, the higher the physical exhaustion became, and the higher the burden of social activities was, the higher the emotional exhaustion became, and the higher the emotional burden was, the higher the physical and emotional exhaustion became. It could be known that as the physical․emotional exhaustion got higher, it had bad effects upon the changers of family relations.
