영국 BITC 사회적 책임 지원 프로그램과 한국에의 시사점

본 연구는 사회적 책임의 시대에 영국 BITC의 사회적 책임 지원 프로그램을 분석하고 이를 통해서 한국에의 시사점을 제공하는데 목표가 있다. 연구방법과 내용으로 영국 BITC의 현황과 프로그램 사례를 탐색적으로 분석하고 함의를 도출하였다. 연구결과 영국 BITC의 프로그램은 그 미션과 전략을 통하여 지역사회협력, 독립적인 기구로서 기업의 사회적 책임 확산, 다양한 프로그램을 통한 지역사회 연계와 투자, 사회적 책임 플랫폼으로서의 핵심적인 역할, 글로벌 네트워크 등을 활용하여 다양한 전략을 추진하고 있다. 이러한 영국 BITC의 사회적 책임 프로그램은 한국에 사회적 책임의 재정립과 가치지향, 정책적으로 사회적 전문 기구의 제도화와 플랫폼 형성, 네트워크를 통한 사회적 책임 프로그램의 개발 등의 시사점을 제공해주고 있다.
Abstract
The purpose of this research is to analyse the program on corporate social responsibility of BITC in United Kingdom and to suggest its implications in Korea. In order to research on this theme, the current status and program cases of BITC in the UK were analyzed and implications were derived as a research method anc content. As a result of the study, BITC’s programs in the UK are promoting various strategies using community cooperation through missions and strategies, spreading corporate social responsibility as an independent organization, community network and investment through various programs, core roles as a social responsibility platform, and global networks. In addition, BITC have been placed as an essential CSR agenda for society. The BITC has designed and conducted diverse program for CSR in community and global. The UK BITC’s social responsibility program provides implications for Korea’s re-establishment and value orientation of social responsibility, institutionalization and platform formation of social professional organizations in policy, and development of social responsibility programs through networks.
