본 연구는 자기결정성 이론에 근거하여 정신장애인 대상 기본심리욕구 척도를 개발하고 타당화하기 위한 목적으로 수행되었다. 이를 위하여 이명희･김아영(2008)이 개발한 기본심리욕구 척도의 내용을 정신장애인에게 맞도록 전문가 FGI를 통해 수정･보완하였으며, 수정된 척도의 문항에 대하여 정신장애인 414명을 대상으로 수집된 자료를 분석하였다. 일차적으로 탐색적 요인분석을 통해 3개 요인의 14개 문항이 최종적으로 추출되었다. 추출된 3개 요인과 14개 문항의 요인구조에 대한 확인적 요인분석을 실시한 결과, 요인구조 모형이 적합한 것으로 나타났다. 다음으로 공인타당도, 요인 간 상관관계 및 내적일치도 검증을 통해 신뢰도와 타당도를 확인하였다. 마지막으로 본 연구를 통해 개발된 척도를 활용하여 정신장애인의 기본심리욕구를 타당하게 측정할 수 있음을 확인하였다.
Abstract
This study was conducted for the purpose of developing and validating the basic psychological needs scale for people with mental disabilities based on the self-determination theory. In order to achieve this purpose, the contents of the basic psychological needs scale developed by Lee & Kim (2008) were modified and supplemented through expert FGI to fit people with mental disabilities, and the data collected from 414 people with mental disabilities were analyzed. First, 14 items of 3 factors were finally extracted through exploratory factor analysis. As a result of conducting confirmatory factor analysis on the factor structure of the extracted 3 factors and 14 items, the factor structure model was found to be suitable. Next, reliability and validity were confirmed through concurrent validity, the correlation between factors, and internal consistency. Finally, it was confirmed that the basic psychological needs of people with mental disabilities can be reasonably measured using the scale developed through this study.
