직장인의 내현적 자기애와 관계적 공격성의 관계에서거부민감성과 분노반추의 순차매개효과

초록

본 연구는 내현적 자기애와 관계적 공격성의 관계에서 거부민감성과 분노반추의 이중매개효과를 검증하기 위해 실시하였다. 이를 위해 직장인 총 331명을 대상으로 내현적 자기애 척도, 거부민감성 척도, 분노반추 척도, 관계적 공격성 척도를 자기 보고식으로 측정하였다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS 25.0를 사용하여 변인들 간 상관관계 분석을 수행하였고, Hayes(2018)의 Process Macro 4.0을 활용하여 이중매개효과를 분석하였다. 연구결과를 요약하면 첫째, 내현적 자기애, 거부민감성, 분노반추, 관계적 공격성은 모두 유의한 정적 상관을 보였다. 둘째, 내현적 자기애와 관계적 공격성의 관계에서 거부민감성과 분노반추는 부분 매개하는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구는 내현적 자기애가 관계적 공격성에 직접적인 영향을 미칠 뿐만 아니라 거부민감성과 분노반추를 매개하여 관계적 공격성에 영향을 미친다는 것을 확인하였다. 이러한 결과들은 관계적 공격성으로 인해 야기되는 직장인들의 심리·사회적 문제들을 감소시키기 위해서는 내현적 자기애의 성격특성에 대한 이해와 인지적 개입을 통해 거부민감성과 분노반추의 수준을 낮추는 것이 필요함을 시사한다.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to examine the relationship between covert narcissism and relational aggression, along with the double meditating effects of rejection sensitivity and anger rumination. For this purpose, self-reported data of Covert Narcissism Scale, Rejection Sensitivity Scale, Anger Rumination Scale and Relational Aggression Scale were collected from 331 employees and analyzed using SPSS 25.0 and Hayes’s Process macro 4.0. The results of this study were summarized as follows. Firstly, the correlations among covert narcissism, relation aggression, rejection sensitivity and anger rumination were significant. Secondly, the relationship between covert narcissism and relational aggression was partially meditated by rejection sensitivity and anger rumination. This study verified that covert narcissism influenced on relational aggression via rejection sensitivity and anger rumination as well as affecting relational aggression directly. These findings suggest that it is necessary not just to understand the personality characteristics of covert narcissism but to lower the level of rejection sensitivity and anger rumination through cognitive intervention in order to reduce the psychosocial problems of office workers caused by relational aggression.
