본 연구는 현장에서 진로개발을 위한 개입의 평가를 촉진하기 위해 단일문항 척도의 사용의 유용성을 검토하고자 하였다. 본 연구는 수도권 4년제 대학생 1,518명의 자료를 사용하였으며, 단일문항 척도인 진로결정수준 문항과 다문항 척도인 진로결정자기효능감(CDSE)을 사용하여, 이 두 척도간의 관계를 탐색적으로 살펴보았다. 연구결과, 진로결정수준의 단일문항은 다문항 척도인 CDSE와 비슷한 특성을 보였으며, 학년간 유의한 차이와 더불어 진로결정수준과 CDSE의 관계에서 학년의 조절효과를 확인하였다. 이에 진로결정수준의 단일문항 척도가 진로개발 개입의 효과를 측정하는데 유용할 수 있음을 확인하였으며, 단일문항 척도의 활용에 대한 제안을 논의하였다.
Abstract
This study was to investigate the utility of a single-item scale to promote field studies in evaluating the effectiveness of career interventions. With a student survey data of 1,518 college students in the capital area of Seoul, which included a single-item scale of career decision and a multi-item scale of career decision self-efficacy (CDSE), this exploratory study analyzed the relationship between these two scales. As results, it was found that the single-item has similar characteristics with CDSE, single-item scale’s mean score were significantly different among grades, and the grade was moderator between the single-item and CDSE. Thus, the single-item was found to be useful in evaluating career intervention and some directions of its utilization were suggested.
