고등학생용 진로 자기효능감 척도 개발 및 타당화

본 연구는 진로 발달 이론과 진로 자기효능감 이론에 근거하여 고등학생을 대상으로 진로와 관련된 자기효능감을 측정하는데 사용할 수 있는 진로 자기효능감 척도를 개발하고, 개발한 척도의 타당도와 신뢰도를 검증하고자 한 것이 목적이었다. 이를 위하여 문헌 연구와 이론적 배경을 근거로 51문항으로 이루어진 예비 척도를 개발하여 D광역시 8개 고등학교(실업계 2개교 포함)의 남․여 고등학생 298명의 자료에 대해 요인분석 하였다. 그 결과 3가지 요인(32문항)이 추출되었으며, 각 요인은 진로 탐색(10문항), 진로 수행(11문항), 진로 결정(11문항)으로 명명되었다. 척도 전체에 대한 Cronbach의 α계수는 .925였고, 3개 하위 요인 각각의 Cronbach의 α계수는 .862～.901이었다. 개발된 척도는 타당도 검증에서 진로와 관련된 역기능적 사고를 측정하는 진로 사고 검사 및 자신감 결여, 우울․부정적 인지, 수동성 등을 측정하는 학습된 무기력 척도와 .01수준에서 통계적으로 유의한 부적 상관을 나타내었으며, 진로 태도 성숙의 정도를 평가하는 진로 태도 성숙도 검사와 .05수준에서 통계적으로 유의한 정적 상관을 나타냄으로써 변별 타당도 및 수렴 타당도에 있어서 검증되었다. 또한 3주 간격의 검사-재검사 신뢰도( .883)와 반분 신뢰도( .956)에서 높은 신뢰도를 나타내었다. 논의에서는 연구의 의의와 제한점 및 추후 연구 과제를 제시하였다.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to develop and the Career Self-Efficacy Scale(CSES) for high school students and to validate the CSES. The CSES was designed to measure individual's confidence in his or her ability to perform the career-related tasks. This study took two steps. First, the CSES consisting of 51 items was developed based on literatures and administered to samples of 298 students at 8 high school in D City. Factor analysis showed the evidence of construct validity of the scale. Three factors were extracted from the factor analysis, factor 1(10 items) implying ‘career research’, factor 2(11 items) implying ‘career performance’, factor 3(11 items) implying ‘career decision making’. The internal consistency reliability of the CSES total score was excellent(Cronbach'α .925) and the internal consistency reliability of subfactor was acceptable(Cronbach'α .862 - Cronbach'α .901). The test-retest reliability of the CSES was .883 and the split half reliability was .956. Second, to verify the convergent validity and discriminant validity of the developed scale, the Career Attitude Maturity Scale, the Career Thought Inventory, the Learned Helplessness Scale were administered. The result of the study indicated that the CSES scores positively and significantly correlated with the Career Attitude Maturity Scale, negatively and significantly correlated with the Career Thought Inventory, and negatively and significantly correlated with the Learned Helplessness Scale. Thus CSES demonstrated satisfactory convergent validity and discriminant validity. In addition, the limitation of study and the practical use of the CSES was discussed.
