연구 목적: 이 연구는 말기 환자의 통증･안위간호에 대한 시뮬레이션 실습교육이 간호대학생의 통증에 대한 지식, 통증간호 효능감과 공감능력에 미치는 효과를 규명하고자 하였다. 연구 방법: 연구대상자는 간호학과 2학년 학생 80명을 편의표집 하였다. 말기 환자의 통증･안위간호에 대한 시뮬레이션 실습교육 프로그램은 1회 100분씩, 2주간 제공하였다. 교육 전･후에 통증에 대한 지식, 통증간호 효능감과 공감능력에 대해 구조화된 설문지로 조사하였다. 자료는 SAS 9.4 version을 이용하여 평균, 표준편차, t-test로 분석하였다. 연구 내용: 시뮬레이션 실습교육 전보다 실습교육 후에 통증간호 효능감(t=6.58, p<.001)과 관점취하기 영역의 공감능력(t=2.05, p=.044)이 증가하였다. 결론 및 제언: 본 연구의 결과를 토대로 말기 환자의 통증･안위간호 시뮬레이션 교육프로그램을 간호학생에게 확대 적용 및 효과 검증 연구가 필요하다.
Abstract
The purpose of this study is to identify the effects of simulation training program on knowledge and efficacy of pain care and empathy ability of end-of-life patients in nursing students. The subjects of the study collected convenience sampling of 80 second-year nursing students. The simulation training program was conducted for 100 minutes a week for 2 weeks. The pre and post surveys measured knowledge of pain, efficacy of pain care, and empathy using the structured questionnaires. The data were analyzed by means, standard deviation, and t-test using SAS 9.4 version. The study were showed that the efficacy of pain care (t=6.58, p<.001) and perspective taking area in empathy ability (t=2.05, p=.044) increased in post-simulation than pre-simulation. Based on the results, it is necessary to expand application of the simulation training program for terminally ill patient to more nursing students, and verify the effect of the study.
