본 연구는 간호대학생에게 호스피스 실습교육을 제공하여 호스피스 인식, 영적 안녕, 죽음에 대한 태도 및 임종간호태도에 미치는 효과를 규명하기 위해 실시되었다. 자료수집은 2017년 5원 8일에서 6월 9일까지 J도에 소재하는 H대학교 간호학과 4학년 31명을 대상으로 적용한 단일군 사전-사후설계로서 2주 동안 90시간의 호스피스병동 실습교육을 수행하였다. 자료는 SPSS 20.0을 사용하여 분석하였다. 본 연구결과 호스피스 실습교육은 간호학생의 호스피스인식, 영적 안녕, 죽음에 대한 태도 및 임종간호태도에 유의한 증가를 나타내 효과적인 실습교육임을 확인하였다. 이상의 결과로 볼 때 간호학생의 영적안녕과 죽음의 태도 및 임종간호태도를 향상시키기 위해 호스피스 인식을 포함한 호스피스 실습교육프로그램의 개발과 적용이 필요하다. 또한 호스피스 실습교육 효과연구가 지속될 것과 본 연구결과를 토대로 간호교육현장에서 호스피스 실습교육과정 개발에 기초자료로 제공되기를 제언한다.
Abstract
The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of hospice unit practice education on hospice perception, spiritual well-being, attitude to death, and attitude toward terminal care of nursing students. This study used a one group pre-posttest research design. The participants were 31 nursing students attending H University located in Jeun Bug. All students participated in 2 weeks of hospice ward practice education. The hospice practice education program consisted of 90 hours. Data collection was performed from May 8 to June 9, 2017. The data were analyzed with using the SPSS 20.0 program. The results of this study were as followings; the score of hospice perception, spiritual well-being, attitude toward death, and attitude toward terminal care were significantly increased after hospice practice education. Based on these results, developing and applying of hospice practice education including hospice awareness is necessary to improve hospice perception, spiritual well-being, attitude to death, and attitude of nursing students toward terminal care. I also recommend that these results provide basic data to develop hospice practice education curriculum.
