주천이(朱踐耳) 음악 작품에서의 민족 문화 응용 분석 - 교향곡 <검령소묘(黔嶺素描)> 중 <새루생(賽蘆笙)> 악장을 중심으로 -

Abstract

Zhu Jian’er (朱踐耳, 1922–2017) was one of China's prominent modern composers, dedicating his life to the creation and exploration of works rooted in Chinese national music. He based his compositions on the rich cultural heritage of the Chinese nation and seamlessly integrated Western modern composition techniques, producing numerous influential musical works. His symphonic compositions, in particular, are distinguished by their strong national characteristics and reflection of the times, achieving a profound fusion of traditional culture and modern composition techniques, and are highly valued for their cultural and artistic significance. This paper focuses on the movement Sai Lusheng <賽蘆笙> from the symphonic suite Sketches of Qianling <黔嶺素描>, Op. 23, by Zhu Jian’er, analyzing how the composer blends Western modern compositional techniques with Chinese ethnic and folk culture. Through an examination of the national cultural elements, musical structure, and harmonic usage embedded in this work, the paper aims to identify the distinctive features and patterns of Zhu Jian'er’s compositional technique. This analysis offers insights into the composer’s creative approach and compositional method, enhancing our understanding of his musical thinking in the context of composition.
