Aristotle emphasized the fear and compassion of the reader in tragedy. In modern literary theory, we take the reader's role more importantly. However, the reader's personal reading experience is less visible. In the case of web platform narratives, the reader's reading behavior can be identified in the form of "reply comments." Webtoons originated from the continuous expression of everyday experiences. There are webt- oons that deal with the experience of illness, the most tragic moment of daily life. We found a lot from such webtoon texts and reader ‘reply com- ments’. The patient was able to express his or her disease experience hon- estly through the webtoon. Readers were able to share their experiences and express empathy with the authors through ‘reply comments’. The disease narrative Webtoon has become a modern literary text that can share empathy, solidarity and comfort in the most painful moments of man.
