사회적 배제 경험, 우울 수준, 지능이소년원생의 편집성 성격 특성에 미치는 영향

초록

본 연구는 소년원생을 대상으로 사회적 배제 경험, 우울 수준, 지능이 편집성 성격 특성을 예측하는 변인이 될 수 있는지에 대하여 조사하였다. 불성실 응답자를 제외한 130명을 대상으로 분석을 진행하였다. 연구결과, 소년원생의 사회적 배제 경험은 우울과 함께 편집성 성격 특성을 유의미하게 예측하는 변인으로 확인되었다. 편집성 성격 특성의 각 하위척도인 과경계, 피해망상, 원한에 대하여 우울은 유의미한 변인이었고, 지능은 과경계, 무시당한 경험은 피해망상, 거절당한 배제 경험은 원한을 유의미하게 예측하는 변인으로 확인되었다. 이러한 결과는 사회적 배제 경험, 우울이 소년원생의 정신건강에 영향을 미치는 중요한 요인임을 확인함으로써 소년원생의 정신건강의 문제를 일으킬 수 있는 사회적 배제 경험에 대한 치료적 개입 및 사회기술 교육이 개인의 부정적 정서 억제와 장기적으로 범죄 예방에 영향을 미칠 수 있음을 시사한다.

Abstract

This study investigated the effects of experiencing social exclusion, depression, and one’s Intelligence Quotient (IQ) level on the Paranoid Personality Disorder Characteristics(PAR) from a total of 130 adolescents in juvenile detention facilities. The results showed that social exclusion experience, which consisted of being neglected and rejected, and depression were significantly explained Paranoid Personality Disorder Characteristics. Also, depression was a significant predictor of three sub-scales of PAR which includes Hypervigilance(PAR- H), Persecution(PAR-P), and Resentments(PAR-R). Moreover, IQ level was a significant predictor of Hypervigilance(PAR-H), experiences of being neglected by others significantly predicted Persecution(PAR-P), and experiences of being rejected by others significantly predicted Resentments(PAR-R). Our findings, suggest that social exclusion experience is a crucial factor which account for adolescent detainees’ Paranoid Personality Disorder Characteristics. Thus, providing appropriate therapeutic intervention and teaching proper social skills before re-entering the community will mitigate
