Abstract

By utilizing the Topic-Modeling method, This article tries to answer the following question: “How does the soldiers’ use of cell phones impact agenda-setting in defense policy?” The soldier’s use of cell phones led to the increase of accusations through the Facebook account, so-called “Messages from the Army Boot Camp.” These accusations became public agendas through the press and were adopted as governmental agendas in the period. Accordingly, the agendas in defense policy are pluralized changing the status of soldiers from the object to the subject of defense policies.
