Abstract
This study is to verify the accuracy of the PMI estimation formula using TBS and ADD after a systematic observation on the decomposition and its decomposition rate depending on the climatic conditions in South Korea, and this is also to look at if we could apply this to practice. We observed and recorded how 3 dead pigs were decomposing from March 2017 (spring) to August 2017 (fall) for 8 months, and this was held on the ground of the flat slope in the mountain located in the rear side of KPIA (Korean Police Investigation Academy).
