가족치료 과정연구로서의 가족치료 내담자 경험에 대한 문화기술지 연구

초록

가족치료 내담자의 가족치료 경험을 이해하기 위하여 문화기술지 면접법을 활용한 가족치료 과정연구를 실시하였다. 가족치료가 어떻게 내담자들에게 도움이 되었는지를 이해하기 위해 가족치료 세션 직후에 문화기술지 면접이 시행되었고, 면접에서 수집한 자료를 분류분석 하였다. 분류분석 결과 연구 참여자들은 가족치료가 도움이 된 방식에 대해서 세션 내에서는 대화촉진, 경청, 공감, 신뢰관계형성, 칭찬, 새로운 관점, 문제명료화-자기인식 증가, 이전에 생각만 했던 것을 시도해 보겠다는 생각을 하게 되는 등의 경험을 들었고, 세션 밖에서는 과제를 수행함으로써 긍정적 영향을 받으며, 세션 내의 치료적 대화를 세션 밖에서도 기억하면서 해결책을 꾸준히 찾게 되는 등의 방식으로 도움이 되고 있음을 밝혔다. 문화기술지 연구를 제시하기 전에 가족치료 성과연구와 과정연구란 무엇인지 검토함으로써 과정연구의 필요성을 밝혔다. 마지막으로 가족치료 과정연구를 위한 함의를 제공했다. 주제어: 가족치료, 과정연구, 문화기술지, 내담자 경험

Abstract

An ethnographic taxonomic analysis was used to examine clients' experiences of solution-focused family therapy. Post-session ethnographic interviews from clients were examined to construct a taxonomy of the way family therapy was helpful to clients. The study demonstrated what clients experienced during therapy, including 'encouraged conversation,' 'being attentively listened to,' 'empathy,' 'complimenting,' 'new perspectives,' 'clarification of problem,' 'trying out.' Prior to presenting an ethnographic study, the need for the process research of family therapy was examined. Implications for family therapy process research are also discussed.
