본 연구는 온라인 강점기반 가족교육 과정과 효과를 조사하고자 한다. 가족교육 프로그램은 2015년 5월 한 달간 온라인으로 프로그램을 실시하였고, 사이버대학생 11명이 프로그램에 참가하였다. 혼합방법으로 프로그램효과를 분석하였는데, 단일집단 사전사후 조사를 통해 프로그램 참여 전후의 가족탄력성과 자아효능감을 분석했고, 프로그램 참여과정에 대한 과제보고서를 질적 분석하였다. 프로그램 실시 결과 가족탄력성과 자아효능감이 유의하게 증가하였다. 참여경험에 대한 질적 분석에서 참여자들은 문제행동의 감소, 관심과 애정표현의 증가, 가족활동시도하기를 경험하였다. 또한 가족강점은 초기에는 개인 특성이 많고, 종결단계에서는 가족 관계 관련 강점이 많이 확인되었고, 강점의 직접적 활용보다 강점관점으로의 전환이 문제해결에 도움이 되었고, 문제해결방법은 가족마다 독특한 것으로 나타났다. 이를 통해 온라인 강점기반 가족 교육의 예방과 치료효과를 확인하였다.
Abstract
Objectives: This study investigated the process and effectiveness of an on-line strength-based family education program. Methods: This mixed-methods study, conducted in 2015, involved eleven cyber- university students. In the quantitative portion, pre-and post-tests were used to measure family resiliency and self-control of the program participants. In the qualitative portion, data from the reports were used to analyze the participants’ experience. Results: Quantitative results demonstrated that family resiliency and self-control of the participants significantly improved after participating in the program. Qualitative analysis showed that the participants’ problem behaviors decreased and that caring, the expression of love, and trying out family activities all increased. Over the course of the study, family strengths changed from qualities of family members to qualities of family relationships. The shift to a strength-based perspective helped with problem solving and with the finding of unique solutions. Conclusion: This study demonstrated the effectiveness and discussed the implications of an on-line strengths-based family education program.
