Abstract
This study examines Chinese women aged 20 to 30 who have undergone cosmetic surgery in Korea, analyzing the relationship between the factors influencing their choice of Korean cosmetic surgery clinics and their satisfaction with the procedures. The context of this research is the growth of the global beauty industry, which has allowed the Korean cosmetic surgery sector to maintain a competitive advantage internationally. Particularly notable is the surge in demand for Korean cosmetic procedures among Chinese women, driven by rising economic levels in China. The research framework is based on four primary selection factors: professionalism, convenience, reputation, and service quality. An online questionnaire survey was conducted, resulting in 406 valid responses. The data were analyzed using SPSS 25.0, employing techniques such as frequency analysis, factor analysis, reliability testing, ANOVA, and multiple regression analysis. The findings reveal that Chinese female consumers prioritize professionalism and reputation when selecting Korean cosmetic clinics, with these factors significantly influencing their overall satisfaction. Additionally, significant differences were found in preferred surgical areas based on age, educational level, marital status, occupation, and income. These results indicate that cosmetic medical institutions should not only focus on surgical outcomes but also enhance their professional management systems, strengthen brand reputation, and improve service quality to boost customer satisfaction. Furthermore, the study distinguishes between physiological and psychological dimensions of consumer satisfaction, offering valuable insights for developing consumer-centered marketing strategies and enhancing service quality. These insights can serve as foundational data for establishing intercountry cooperation policies and improving the international competitiveness of the Korean cosmetic surgery industry.
