ChatGPT관련 국내 언론보도 기사 분석 – 텍스트 연결망 분석을 활용하여

Analysis of Domestic Press Coverage on ChatGPT using Text Network Analysis

초록

연구목적: ChatGPT 출현 이후 사회 전반적으로 이의 활용에 대한 논의가 지속되고 있는데, 본 연구는 ChatGPT를 다루고 있는 언론기사를 통해 관련 동향이 무엇인지 살펴보고, 관련 시사점을 도출하고자 하였다. 연구방법: ChatGPT를 다룬 기사의 헤드라인과 기사본문을 연구 데이터로 활용하여, 텍스트마이닝 분석방법과 핵심어 연결망 분석방법을 실시하였다. 연구결과: 먼저, 텍스트마이닝 분석결과, 국내 기사 헤드라인에서 나타난 ChatGPT 관련 키워드는 인공지능, 개최, 활용, 교육, 시대로 나타났다. 해당 5개 핵심어를 바탕으로 문맥분석을 실시한 결과, 첫째, 핵심어 ‘인공지능’에서는 활용, 서비스, 생성형 순으로 문맥의 비중을 차지하고 있어 사회적으로 인공지능기술 활용에 대한 높은 관심을 보여준다. 둘째, 핵심어 ‘개최’에서는 인공지능, 교육, 기술, 센터, 포럼, 세미나 등의 순으로 나타났다. 셋째, 핵심어 ‘활용’에서는 인공지능, 교육, 기술, 서비스 순으로 빈도 수가 높게 나타났다. 넷째, 핵심어 ‘교육’에서는 인공지능, 활용, 교육, 학교, 연수, 교사 순으로 빈도 수가 높았다. 다섯째, 핵심어 ‘시대’에서는 인공지능, 활용, 교육, 생성형과 기술, 그리고 역량 순으로 나타났다. 마지막으로 핵심어 연결망 분석결과, 도수 중심성과 매개 중심성, 근접 중심성, 아이겐벡터 중심성 모두에서 ‘인공지능’이 핵심으로 나타났다. 인공지능은 연결망 내에서 많은 다른 핵심어들과 연결되어 있으며 특히 교육, 기술, 생성형과 강하게 연결되어있어 교육, 기술, 생성형 또한 연결망 내에서 중요한 역할을 하고 있음을 확인하였다. 논의 및 결론: 기사의 헤드라인에서 도출된 상위 키워드와 본문에서 나타나는 주요 핵심어 및 핵심어 연결망 분석 결과를 종합하면, 현 시대는 ChatGPT와 같은 생성형AI 도구와 공생하여 살아가는 사회로서, 사회적으로 이러한 도구의 활용에 대한 교육적 논의가 중요함을 보여준다. 이에 생성형AI 도구 활용에 대한 교육적 시사점을 도출하였다.

Abstract

Purpose: This study aimed to investigate key themes related to ChatGPT by examining headlines and main text from domestic media since the release of ChatGPT. The objective of this study was to identify and analyze key terms associated with ChatGPT through media articles, with the intention of deriving relevant implications and insights from the findings. Method: The study utilized headlines and main text from articles discussing ChatGPT as research data, conducting text mining analysis and keyword network analysis. Results: Firstly, the results of text mining analysis revealed key keywords related to ChatGPT in domestic article headlines, including artificial intelligence, event, application, education, and era. Based on these five keywords, contextual analysis was conducted. Furthermore, in the results of keyword network analysis, both degree centrality and betweenness centrality, closeness centrality, and eigenvector centrality highlighted 'artificial intelligence' as a central theme. Artificial intelligence demonstrated strong connections with many other keywords in the network, particularly in education, technology, and generative AI, confirming the crucial roles of education, technology, and generative AI within the network. Conclusion: Integrating the top keywords derived from article headlines, key terms shown in the main text, and the results of keyword network analysis, it becomes evident that the contemporary society is coexisting with generative AI tools like ChatGPT. Thus, there is a significant need for educational discussions regarding the utilization of such tools. Consequently, educational implications for the use of generative AI tools were derived.
