申之悌의 詩에 나타난 交遊 양상 연구

梧峯 申之悌(1562～1624)는 조선 중기의 문인으로, 임진년과 정유년의 전란 때 의병 활동을 주도하였으며 이후에 당대의 문호들과 많은 한시 작품을 주고받았던 인물이다. 임진왜란 때 조목에게 수창하여 왜적을 물리쳐 공을 세울 것을 鼓舞하였고, 김부륜에게 시를 올려 일본과의 강화를 비판하며 항전 의지를 다졌으며, 청량산의 형세를 살핀 후 금난수에게 증여한 시에서 전쟁의 종식과 다음 유람에 대한 기대를 드러내었다. 김해와 서로 처자식을 맡길 정도로 각별했던 신지제는 임진왜란 때 김해가 순국하자 그를 애도하는 만시를 짓고 남은 가족들을 보살폈으며, 장편의 시로 조씨 문중 사람들의 충절을 기리며 정유재란 때 전사한 조종도의 의기를 칭송하였다. 의병 활동을 통해 맺어진 교유는 전란이 끝난 뒤에도 이어져 손기양과 함께 곽재우의 忘憂亭을 방문하고 뱃놀이를 즐겼다. 손기양을 전별한 시에서 李埈ㆍ鄭經世와 교분이 이어졌으며, 呂大老와 뱃놀이를 하면서 지은 율시에서 朴瑞龜의 시적 역량에 대한 인식이 드러났다. 1601년에 掌樂院에서 만든 「嶺南同道會」의 인원 중에 신지제와 지속적인 교유를 가지고 시를 주고받은 이는 李好閔, 趙靖, 李民宬ㆍ李民寏 형제, 曺友仁 등이 있다. 이들과 주연이나 전별연 모임에서 증여한 시를 토대로 작품에 나타난 관계망과 우의, 이를 매개로 확장된 교유의 양상을 살폈다.
Abstract
Obong(梧峯) Shin Ji-je(申之悌) was a literary person during the middle years of Joseon Dynasty, who led the activities of the unofficial troops of righteous army during the Japanese invasion in Imjin year and Jeong-you year. After that, he exchanged many works of Chinese poetry with literary lights of the day. During the war in Imjin year, poetry interchange with Jo Mok(趙穆) to encourage him to defeat Japanese invaders and render distinguished services. Also, he dedicated his poetry to Kim Bu-Ryun(金富倫) to criticize the negotiation with Japan, strengthening the spirit of resistance against Japan. After looking around and seeing the lay of the lands of Mountain Cheongnyang(淸凉山), in his poem dedicated to Geum Nan-su(琴蘭秀), he revealed his expectation for the cease of the war and ensuing his excursion. Shin Ji-je, who established a friendship with Kim Hae(金垓), which was special enough to leave his wife and kids to him and vice versa, wrote an elegy mourning Kim Hae's death for the county and was willing to take care of Kim's bereaved. Also, he admired the loyalty of the Jos Kinship in his long poem, praising the public spirit of Jo Jong-do(趙宗道) who died at the war of the Japanese second invasion in Jeong-you year. The companionship developed during his resistance activities against Japan was still continued after the war. He would visit Kwak Jae-woo(郭再祐)'s Mangwoojung(忘憂亭) with Son Ki-yang(孫起陽) and enjoy boating. His poem singing farewell to Son Ki-yang shows his continuing friendship with Lee Joon(李埈) and Jeong Kyung-se(鄭經世), and his strophic poem written in boating with Yŏ Tae-ro(呂大老) reveals his recognition for Park Seo-Kyou(朴瑞龜)'s poetic capability. According to the list of members of Yeongnam-dongdo Association(嶺南同道會), which was made by Jangakwon(掌樂院) in 1601, those who exchanged poetry with Shin ji-je in constant companionship were Lee Ho-min李好閔), Jo Jeong(趙靖), Lee Min-sung(李民宬) and Min-hwan(李民寏) brothers, Jo Woo-in(曺友仁), and etc. This study looked through the network and friendship that appeared in Shin Ji-je's works and the aspect of his extended companionship revealed in them based on his poetry dedicated during feasts or farewell banquets.
