黃景源 漢詩를 통해 본 신념과 감성,의리와 시의 상관성에 대하여

Abstract

Targeting Sino-Korean poetry of Hwang Kyeongwon(黃景源) known as the representative writer during the reign of Yeongjo(英祖), this paper developed the point of argument based on basic questions such as ‘Is he worthy to be discussed as a Sino-Korean poet?’ ‘If so, which aspect of his Sino-Korean poetry should be noticed’. Though he played a critical role in the history of thought and politics during the reign of Yeongjo and Jeongjo(正祖) and was also evaluated as a writer representing those days, there have been few studies on his poetic literature. Thus, by selecting the perspective that there is a need to study Hwang Kyeongwon’s Sino-Korean poetry regardless of the achievement of literary value, this paper was to identify his life and self-consciousness, relevance between Daemyeonguiriron(Claim to be loyal to the Ming Dynasty 對明義理論), his opinion and poetic literature and furthermore, the features and value of poetic literature realized by him. The results of discussion found out that his Sino-Korean poetry is not enough to be evaluated to have excellent literary value but there are following elements worth noticing in terms of the history of literature; First, the 20s poetry club in which he participated allows us to specifically examine the typical aspect of poetry clubs of the late of Chosun Dinasty. Second, with respect to Hwang Kyeongwon’s personal history and self-consciousness, his life, beliefs, and literature correspond consistently. Third, unchanging belief was absorbed into clear subject consciousness and shaped into poetic literature. In particular, the third feature formed the core of Hwang Kyeongwon’s poetic literature and closely combined intense subject consciousness and clear beliefs with narrative technique. In addition, the path of poetic literature selected by Hwang Kyeongwon raises questions to be thought about to poetic literature researchers. Sino- Korean Poetry should be aesthetic? Or writing poems are basically for your self? Hwang Kyeongwon’s Sino-Korean Poetry can be said to be the proble matic target for these questions rather than in the interior of his achieve ments.
