텍스트 마이닝과 의미 네트워크 분석을 활용한 북한 미디어 기반 신흥안보 동향 분석

본 연구는 북한 내에서 감지되는 신흥안보 위기의식의 동향을 북한 미디어 기사를 기반으로 분석하였다. 텍스트 마이닝과 의미 네트워크 분석을 통해 북한 미디어 기사에서 노출된 주요 단어를 중심으로 신흥안보 유형별 중요도를 파악하였다. 2011-2022년 기간의 기사를 대상으로 분석한 결과, 식량안보, 보건안보, 환경안보 관련 단어들은 상호 간에 연결되어 북한 내의 안보 위기의 연계성을 나타내었고, 주요 신흥안보 관련 단어를 중심으로 커뮤니티를 구성하고 있는 것을 확인하였다. 신흥안보 관련 주요 단어가 연도별로 출현하는 추이를 분석한 결과, 북한 내에 식량안보 위기의식은 지속적으로 존재하였고, 환경안보 위기가 식량안보와 연계되는 양상을 보였다. 다만, 2020년 이후 코로나19 확산으로 인해 보건안보의 중요성이 크게 높아졌다. 이를 통해 글로벌 신흥안보 위기 가운데 식량안보와 보건안보가 상호 연계되는 경향을 확인할 수 있다.
Abstract
This study identified the emerging security crisis perceived within North Korea based on media articles. Through text mining and semantic network analysis, the importance of each type of emerging security was analyzed, focusing on key words exposed in North Korean media articles. As a result of analyzing articles from the 2011 to 2022, words related to food security, health security, and environmental security were linked to each other, indicating the linkage of the security crisis in North Korea, and a community was formed around major emerging security-related words. As a result of analyzing the trends in the appearance of key words related to emerging security by year, the food security crisis continued to exist in North Korea, and the environmental security crisis also tended to be linked to food security. However, the importance of health security has increased significantly since 2020 due to the spread of COVID-19. Through this, we also discovered a tendency for food security and health security to be interconnected in the emerging global security crisis.
