한국행정사연구의 차원과 타당성: 한국행정사학지의 연구주제 방향성을 중심으로

이 연구는 한국행정학의 토착화에 학문적 기여도가 높은 한국행정사 연구의 차원과 타당성을 논의하고자 한국행정사 연구를 대표하는 전문학술지인 한국행정사학지를 대상으로 연구경향 분석을 하였다. 연구결과에 대해 요약해 보면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 2005-2010년 사이에 한국행정사학지에 등재된 88편을 분석한 결과 연구키워드는 406개로 나타났으며, 이 중에서 3회 이상 출현한 핵심연구키워드는 31개 이며, ‘거버넌스(governance)’, ‘경세유표(經世遺表)’, ‘목민심서(牧民心書)’, ‘민본주의(民本主義), ‘성리학(性理學)’, ‘행정개혁(行政改革)’ 등이 연구 핵심주제로 나타났다. 둘째, 한국행정사 연구주제들의 내면에 숨겨져 있는 상호연관성을 파악하기 위해 사회네트워크(social network) 분석을 실시한 결과 각각의 연구주제들은 상호간의 독립된 4개의 영역을 각각 형성하면서 연구주제에 있어 과거와 현재를 넘나드는 긴밀한 연관성을 보였다. 특히, 정부, 행정개혁, 개혁사상 등이 높은 연결중심성(degree centrality)의 역할을 수행하는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 연구결과는 한국행정사 연구의 전반적 흐름을 파악하는데 도움을 줄 것이며, 향후 한국행정사의 연구방향에 대한 학자적 담론형성에 기여를 할 것으로 본다.
Abstract
In this study, in order to discuss status and propriety of study on Korean public administration history that has greatly contributed to settlement of Korean public administration, the researcher analyzed research trends of the Korean Public Administration History Review as the professional publication representing study on Korean public administration history. Summary of study result is as follows. First, as the result of analyzing 88 articles being registered in the Korean Public Administration History Review from 2005 to 2010, key-words of study were 406. Among them, the core study key-words for research topics that appeared more than 3 times were 31 such as ‘governance’, ‘GyeongSeYuPyo’, ‘MokMinSimSeo’, ‘Democracy’, ‘Sung Confucianism’, ‘Administrative Reform’ and etc. Second, in order to grasp internally hidden correlations between the research topics on the Korean public administration history, the researcher analyzed social network. As the result, each research topic demonstrated intimate correlation crossing the past and present days, forming 4 independent areas respectively. Especially, government, administrative reform and reformative thoughts, etc. appeared to have high degree centrality. Such results of study are likely to be helpful in grasping the overall flow of study on the Korean public administration history and to contribute greatly to forming scholastic discourses about the direction of study on the Korean public administration history from now on.
