장애학의 다중패러다임을 통한 장애(인)에 대한 인식의 유형

본 연구는 사회복지학을 전공하고 있는 대학(원)생들의 장애(인)에 대한 인식을 알아보기 위한 것으로 장애학의 다중패러다임을 활용하였다. 본 연구의 Q표본은 34개이며, P표본은 30명이다. 본 연구의 결과는 4가지 유형으로 구분되었다. 그 유형은 ‘개별적 유물론형’, ‘개별적 유물론-사회적 구성주의 혼합형’, ‘개별적 유물론-개별적 관념론 혼합형’, ‘사회적 구성주의형’이다. 이와 같은 결과는 장애(인)에 관한 전통적인 입장에서 벗어나지 못한 결과로 분석되어진다. 이것은 사회적 생성주의적 입장이 배제된 결과이다. 즉 장애(인)에 대한 개인적 재활과 개입이 중요한 것이 아니라 억압과 차별을 만드는 사회 구조의 변혁이 우선되어야 하며 장애를 만드는 장벽을 제거해야 한다는 입장은 도출되지 않았다. 따라서 장애(인)에 관한 인식이 과거의 관점에서 벗어나 사회적 모델 관점과 사회적 생성주의 입장을 수용할 수 있어야 한다는 점을 제언하였다.
Abstract
In this study, I analized how the (graduate) students see the disability(disabled person) by the tool of the paradime of disability. Q-sample is 34 units and P - sample contains 30 persons. The result of this study is classified in four types. They are individual materialist position-type, individual idealist position-type, social creationist position-type and social constructionist position-type. All these results of the study shows the viewpoint of the (graduate) student not to be changed in comparison with the old viewpoint. This result is because the viewpoint of Social creationist position-type is excluded. Namely, it is more important of taking away the barrier to make people disabled and of changing the social system to make depression and distinction over disability than of supporting directly the disability, but such point of view were not come out. Therefore I suggested that the recognition of the people on disability should accept the point of view of Social model and of Social creationist position.
