초록

본 연구는 사회복지사의 장애개념 인식을 측정하는 척도개발을 위한 연구이다. 프리슬리(Priestley)의 장애학의 다중패러다임 모형에 기반한 문헌연구와 내용타당도 검증을 거쳐 예비문항을 만들었고, 실증적 조사와 요인분석을 통해 그 타당성을 검증하였다. 분석결과 최종 확정된 장애개념 인식은 3개 차원의 12개 문항으로 구성되었다. 각 하위차원은 사회문화적 요인 6개 문항, 개인적 정체성 요인 3개 문항, 그리고 개인적 손상 요인 3개 문항이었다. 본 모형이 갖는 자료와의 부합도는 터커 루이스 지수(TLI) .909, 비교부합지수(CFI) .930, 근사평균오차제곱(RMSEA) .069로 좋은 부합도를 보이고 있었다. 또한 전체 신뢰도는 Cronbach α 값이 .713으로 수용 가능한 수준임을 보여주었다. 본 연구는 학문적으로 장애인복지학에서 장애를 바라보는 관점과 논의의 폭을 확장시키면서 장애개념에 대한 인식을 명확히 하는데 기여할 것이다. 또한 실천적으로 장애인복지 현장의 사회복지사들에게 장애개념에 대한 스스로의 인식을 성찰하는데 도움을 제공함으로써 궁극적으로 서비스 프로그램을 개발하고 실천하는데 지향성을 제공할 수 있을 것이다.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to empirically develop and evaluate a disability concept awareness scale for social workers in practice field. Items based on Priestley's multi-paradigm of disability model. The analyses were proceeded with following three step. In step 1, sub-dimensions and items were developed. in step 2, items were modified by pilot test. in step 3, the final model scale was verfied by explorative factor analysis and confirmatory factor analysis. The scale of 12 items was prove to be a reliable instrument(Cronbach α = .713) and catergorized into three sub-dimensions. The first dimension is 'socio-culture' with 6 items; The second is 'individual identity' with 3 items; The third id ' individual impairment' with 3 items. All the analyses revealed that the structure of the model scale was reasonable fit(TLI: .909, CFI: .930, RMSEA: .069) and valid tool to disability concept awareness. This study might be meaningful in respect that it is the one that introduced the concept of disability to an academic society of disability study and developed a related scale.
