하와이 거주 동포들의 한일관계 인식유형에 관한 연구

본 연구는 향후 발인 한일 계를 모색하기 한 일환으로 하와이 거주 한국 동포들을 상으로 양국 계 에 한 인식을 악하다. 부분 선행 연구들이 보여주듯이 역사 인식을 달리하는 과거의 에 매어있는 한 계 개선을 한 해법은 찾기 힘들다. 시간, 지리으로 거리를 두고 살펴 볼 필요가 있다. 하와이는 양국 민이 타 지역에 비해서 비교 우호으로 공존하는 제3지라고 할 수 있다. 주성 연구 방법론에 기한 조 사결과 한일계에 한 하와이 동포들의 인식유형은 평가지향형, 자구노력형, 이해확장형 그리고 력추구형 등으로 나타났다. 본 연구 결과는 한국 일본인을 상으로 한 선행 연구와 하와이 거주 일본인을 상으로 하는 후속 연구 등과 함께 향후 발인 양국 계를 탐색하기 한 기 자료로 활용될 수 있을 것으로 기 된다.
Abstract
Why neighboring countries are not used to be good neighbors? This is more true in-between Korea and Japan recently. Some prior studies on this subject found but mainly focused from the past historical perspectives. It is time to look for ways to improve the conflict resolution between those two nations from the productive future-oriented standpoint while acknowledging the existing differences of opinions and geographical distance. In this regard, this study takes an exploratory approach to seek ways to compromise and improve the relationship between the two countries through surveying Korean-Americans living in Hawaii. The study conducts with Q method based on the theoretical framework of Jim Dator’s Futures Studies and Wendell Bell’s value evaluation category to identify respondents’ perception types. Result categorized 4 different types of subjectivity such as Reputation, Endeavour, Comprehension, and corporation pursing. Based on the types finding, further applicable approaches for relationship improvement are assessed.
