비계 설정으로서의 쓰기 교수 대화 연구

본 연구의 목적은 쓰기 수업에서 교사가 학습자의 글쓰기 능력 발달을 위해 비계를 설정하는 방식을 밝히는 것이다. 이를 위해 비계 설정으로서 교수대화가 지니는 의미를 논의하고, 쓰기 교수대화에서 다루어지는 내용으로부터 몇가지 유형을 추출한 후, 전략에 대한 실례를 제시하였다. 그 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 교수대화란 수업에서 학습 주제나 목표와 관련된 교수 언어로, 교사와 학습자가 공동 구성하고 언어적 중재라는 점에서 근접발달영역 안에서 비계 설정의 역할을 하며, 교사가 비계 설정하는 방식은 교수대화의 유형과 전략으로 나타난다. 둘째, 쓰기 교수대화의 유형은 쓰기 과정에 대한 과정중심 대화, 쓰기 상황과 관련된 맥락적 지식에 대한 상황중심 대화, 쓰기 화제에 대한 화제중심 대화, 학습자의 텍스트에 대한 결과중심 대화로 나눌 수 있다. 또한 과정중심 대화에서는 쓰기 행위를 절차화하는 방식과 사용하는 용어에 따라, 상황중심 대화는 맥락적 지식을 이양하는 방식에 따라, 화제중심 대화는 수업에서 활용하는 텍스트에 따라, 결과중심 대화는 주된 감상이나 평가의 대상에 따라 다양한 전략이 나타난다. 셋째, 쓰기 교수대화의 유형을 형성하는 의미적 선택들은 개별 수업 상황에 적절한 비계를 설정하는 준거가 된다.
Abstract
The purpose of this paper is to explore the scaffolding's methods for the development of writing ability. For this, I discussed the teaching conversation's meaning as a scaffolding and extracted some categories from the contents of writing‘s teaching conversation. Then I presented the scaffolding's methods, teaching conversation's strategies from protocol data. The summary of this study goes as follows. First, the teaching conversation is the language that the teachers use in a instruction about learning purposes or themes. The teaching conversation is the essence of zone of proximal development and of scaffolding. And the scaffolding's methods is appeared as teaching conversation's categories and strategies. Second, writing's teaching conversation can be categorized as process-oriented conversation, context-oriented conversation, topic-oriented conversation, and product-oriented conversation. Third, each category's register goes standard referred to choose the proper scaffoldings related with writing instructions.
