여성결혼이민자의 원활한 학부모 역할을 위한 어휘 선정 연구

이 글에서는 여성결혼이민자가 학부모 역할을 원활하게 수행하게 하기 위한 어휘에 대해 연구하여, 그것을 통해 어휘 목록을 선정하고 실질적인 의미 기술방법론을 제시하고자 했다. 여성결혼이민자가 직면하고 있는 여러 역할 중에서 가장 큰 문제로 대두되는 것이 학부모 역할인데 그 역할을 수행하기 위해서는 학교와 가정 간의 의사소통이 가장 중요한 당면 과제이다. 그런데 그 의사소통의 1차적 통로의 역할을 하는 것이 가정통신문과 알림장이라고 할 수 있으므로 그것들을 분석하여 중요한 어휘들을 적절하게 추출해내어 교육용 어휘로 선정하는 것은 의미 있는 작업이 될 것이다. 이렇게 학교와 가정 내의 학부모 사이에서 의사소통을 위해 흔히 쓰이는 어휘를 목록화하여 제시해 준다면 여성결혼이민자 개인의 한국어 능력이 어떤 수준인지와는 별개로 학부모로서의 역할을 어느 정도 수행할 수 있는 최소한의 언어적 여건을 만들어 줄 것이다.
Abstract
In this article, we investigated the words for education which can help inter-married women immigrants to perform well as parents of students, and also select the basic vocabularies and present the substantial. Above all other roles, being parents of students is the most important thing for inter-married women immigrants, and to play the role well, the communication between school and parents is essential. The very first means of the communication are ‘home correspondence sheets’ and ‘informing sheets’. Therefore we analyzed the sheets and abstracted the important vocabularies, then selected vocabularies for education. If we provide the lists of these commonly used words for the communications between school and the parents, we will be able to help the inter-married women immigrants to gain the linguistic abilities to perform well as parents of students.
