초등 국어과 교육을 위한텍스트 갈래에 대한 지식 범주화

2007년 개정 국어과 교육과정 이래 텍스트 중심 교육과정을 표방하고 있다. 이 논의에서는 교육과정의 이러한 취지를 살리기 위하여 학습자에게 교수․학습되어야 하는 것이 텍스트의 갈래에 대한 지식임을 규명하고 그 범주를 정립하고자 했다. 그 결과 텍스트 갈래에 대한 지식의 범주를 ‘텍스트 갈래의 의미’, ‘텍스트 갈래의 맥락’, ‘텍스트 갈래의 구조’, ‘텍스트 갈래의 표지’, ‘텍스트 갈래의 내용’으로 설정하고, 각 범주를 ‘설명하는 글’, ‘제안하는 글’, ‘주장하는 글’을 사례로 설명하였다. 그리고 이 논의에서 수립한 텍스트 갈래에 대한 지식 범주가 국어 교과서에 어떻게 수용되고 있는지를 살펴 개선점을 논의하였다. 이 논의는 텍스트 중심 국어과 교육과정이 효과적으로 실행되어 학습자의 실질적인 국어능력을 신장시기 위하여 어떤 점이 보완되고 강화되어야 하는지를 제시하고 있다.
Abstract
Korean language education curriculum which was revised in 2007 has focused on text-centered curriculum. To recognize the purpose of this curriculum, we tried to identify text type which leaners should be taught and educated and set up the category of this curriculum. As a result, we set up the categories of knowledge on text type into ‘the meaning of text type’, ‘the context of text type’, ‘the structure of text type’, ‘the marker of text type’, ‘the content of text type’ and explained each category with using examples of ‘expository writing’, ‘statements of suggestion’, and ‘opinionative writing.’ In addition, we examined how knowledgable categories of this text type, are applied in Korean textbooks and discussed the improvements. This discussion presents what should be strengthened and complemented for the effective implementation of text-centered Korean language education curriculum to develop the substantive Korean language ability of learners.
