우리나라의 지역금융시장과 지방은행-부산지역의 기업금융을 중심으로

초록

지역금융을 활성화하기 위한 논의가 계속되면서 지역금융기관의 육성 필요성이 제기되고 있다. 이들 주장은 주로 정보의 비대칭성 이론과 지역금융이론에 근거하고 있는데, 이들 논의는 지역경제의 금융제약을 완화함에 있어 지역금융기관이 중요한 역할을 한다는 점을 확인하고 있다. 그러나 지역금융기관이 어떻게 하여 지역금융제약을 완화할 수 있게 되는가에 대한 분석은 결여되어 있다. 이 글은 이러한 점에 유의하면서 지역금융기관 특히 지방은행의 존립기반을 밝혀보고자 한다.

Abstract

It is said that to boost the regional finance we should develop the regional financial institutions Their assertions are mainly based on the asymmetric information theory and the regional financial market theory They make sure that in easing the regional financial constraints the regional financial institutions play important roles But they fail to show how the regional financial institutions can ease the regional financial constraints In this paper the author, keeping this in mind, tries to analyse the operational grounds of the regional financial institutions, especially the local bank.
