Abstract
In the previous studies on organizational citizenship behavior of members, it has been proved that they form a positive atmosphere of team and organization, which is organizational citizenship behavior, and also have a significant influence on individual and organizational performance. On the other hand, OCB, which is a positive organizational member behavior, has the characteristic that it can not formally propose or enforce it by voluntary action. Therefore, it is very meaningful to discuss what factors will induce and strengthen OCB. In this study, we analyzed LMX, which is the relationship between leader and employee, as a factor inducing organizational citizenship behavior based on existing studies and social exchange theory. This research model was conducted on 446 civil servants. The results of the study are as follows. First, as expected in this study, LMX has a significant positive relationship with OCB (OCBI, OCBO, change-oriented OCB). Second, the moderating effect of organizational politics is different from the hypothesis of this study. In other words, the moderating effect of organizational politic perception was proved to have a significant negative effect only on the relationship between LMX and OCBI, and not on the relationship between LMX and OCBO and change orientation OCB. Based on the results of this study, the implications of the theoretical implications and the personnel administration aspects are presented.
