스포츠신동과 스포츠성인영재의 수월성을 통해 본 스포츠영재의 잠재성

이 연구에서는 스포츠신동과 스포츠성인영재의 수월성 요인을 탐색하고, 탐색한 수월성 요인의 기여도를 기반으로 스포츠영재의 잠재성을 추정하고 추정한 스포츠영재성의 잠재성이 스포츠영재 사업에 시사하는 바를 논하였다. 선수와 지도자 86명을 대상으로 개방형설문과 귀납적범주화, 계층분석을 진행하였다. 연구결과 스포츠신동과스포츠성인영재의 수월성은 심리요인, 신체요인, 운동환경, 기술요인, 수행전략으로 범주화되었다. 스포츠신동은신체요인-수행전략-기술요인-운동환경-심리요인 순으로 영향을 미치는 것으로, 스포츠성인영재는 심리요인-수행전략-기술요인-운동환경-신체요인 순으로 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 계층분석 결과 심리요인과 수행전략은 스포츠성인영재의 핵심적 수월성 요인인 반면, 신체요인은 스포츠신동의 핵심적 수월성 요인으로 나타났다. 한편 기술요인과 환경요인은 스포츠신동과 스포츠성인영재의 수월성에 유사한 정도의 영향을 미치고 있다. 신체요인과 운동환경은 스포츠신동에 비해 스포츠성인영재의 수월성에 미미한 영향을 미치고 있는 것으로 나타나 영재성의 착시 요인으로 작용하고 있는 반면, 스포츠영재의 핵심적인 수월성인 심리요인과 수행전략은 스포츠신동에게는과소평가되고 있다. 따라서 스포츠신동과 스포츠성인영재를 비교했을 때 스포츠영재의 영재성은 심리요인과 수행전략의 평가절하, 신체요인과 운동환경은 평가절상 되고 있다. 따라서 스포츠영재 진단에서 신체조건이나 체력등의 신체요인을 중시하는 관점은 예언타당성 문제를 야기할 위험이 있으므로 스포츠영재 진단에서 심리요인과수행전략, 운동환경을 반영할 수 있는 방안을 모색할 필요가 있다. 추후 스포츠영재 진단의 타당성 논의, 스포츠영재진단을 위한 심리요인과 수행전략 진단 방법 개발, 스포츠영재에 대한 적극적인 관심 전개를 기대해본다.

Abstract

This study was to explore the excellence in sport for sport prodigy and sport talented. Open-ended questionnaires and AHP questionnaires were used to examine the excellence in sport among 86 athletes and coaches. The results of open-ended questionnaires were analyzed by content analysis. As the results,excellence in sport for sport prodigy and sport talented were psychological factor, physical factor,surroundings, skill factor, and strategy for excellence. For sport prodigy, the importance of factors were as follows; physical factor, strategy for excellence, skill factor, surroundings, and psychological factor. However, for the sport talented the importance of factors were as follows; psychological factor, strategy for excellence, skill factor, surroundings, and physical factor. Psychological factor and strategy for excellence were crucial parts of sport talented. On the other hand, skill factor and surroundings had profound impacts on sport prodigy and sport talented. Physical factor and surroundings have been regarded as minimal factors for sport talented than sport prodigy. Psychological factor and strategy for excellence were thought to be more powerful inside a sport talented than sport prodigy. Sport talented‘s potential was psychological factor and strategy for excellence. However, physical factor and surroundings were not critical in sport talented. In sport talented, diagnosis of physical factor has been overestimated and has been being questioned by the logic. Therefore, psychological factor and strategy for excellence should be recognized in sport talented diagnosis. From now on, we expect that the validity of sport talented diagnosis, development of instrument for psychological factor and strategy for excellence for sport talented, and interest for sport talented will be improved.
