여가참여수준 세분화에 따른 여가만족과 여가몰입 : 진지한여가와 레크리에이션 전문화를 중심으로

이 연구는 최근 여가학분야에서 여가참가자의 참여수준을 이해하는데 중요한 변인으로 다뤄지고 있는 진지한여가와 레크리에이션 전문화의 수준을 고려하여 집단을 세분화 하고 세분화된 집단별로 여가몰입과 여가만족 등의 여가행동 차이를 검증하였다. 연구를 위해 서울, 경기, 충남에서 다양한 여가활동에 참가하는 20-40대 일반인을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하고 수집된 자료 중 총 225부가 통계분석(SPSS 18.0 및 AMOS18.0)에 활용되었다. 분석결과 첫째, 진지한여가의 수준에 따라 2개의 집단, 레크리에이션 전문화의 수준에 따라 2개와 3개의 집단으로 분류되었다. 둘째, 두 변인의 수준을 동시에 고려하여 최종적으로 4개의 집단으로 세분화하였다. 셋째, 세분화된 집단별로 여가만족의 각 하위요인에서는 유의한 차이를 나타냈다. 넷째, 세분화된 집단별로 여가몰입에서 유의한 차이를 나타냈다. 이 연구결과는 진지한여가와 레크리에이션 전문화가 단순 정적 상관관계만 있는 것이 아니라는 것과 여가만족과 몰입에 더 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것이 진지한여가 라는 점을 밝혀냈다는 점에서 이 연구의 의의가 있다.
Abstract
Taking into account both serious leisure and the specialized level of recreation that have been handled as important variables in understanding the level of leisure participation in the field of leisure studies, this study subdivided the groups of participants such levels and verified the leisure behavior differences such as leisure flow and leisure satisfaction according to the subdivided groups. For the study, survey was conducted with subjects among general public in the 20s and 30s who participate in various leisure activities in the region of Seoul, Gyeonggi, and Chungnam. A total of 225 completed questionnaires were collected and were analyzed using statistical programs (SPSS 18.0 and AMOS 18.0). Prior to the analysis, the subjects were first divided into two groups according to the level of serious leisure, and to two groups and three groups according to the specialized level of recreation. Second, considering the levels of two variables simultaneously, the respondents were subdivided into four groups. Third, significant differences were found among subfactors of leisure satisfaction depending on subdivided groups. Forth, significant differences were found in leisure flow depending on subdivided groups. This study is significant in that the results confirmed that there is a simple positive correlation between serious leisure and recreation specialization and that serious leisure has a more positive effect on leisure satisfaction and leisure flow.
