진지한 여가와 레크리에이션 전문화 및 몰입의 구조모형분석

초록

이 연구는 진지한 여가와 레크리에이션 전문화 그리고 몰입의 구조모형을 규명하기 위해 수행되었다. 이 모형을 이루는 세 가지 요인은 여가활동에 참여하는 사람들을 이해하고 그들의 행동을 설명하는데 매우 중요한 변인이다. 이 연구에서는 먼저 문헌연구를 통해 세 변인의 관계에 대한 이론적 검증을 실시하고 연구모형을 설정하였다. 연구모형의 검증을 위해 총 413명의 만 20세 이상 성인을 대상으로 설문조사하여 도출된 자료를 분석에 이용하였다. SPSS 18.0과 AMOS 7.0으로 확인적 요인분석, 신뢰도분석, 상관관계분석 그리고 구조방정식 모델검증을 적용하였다. 연구결과, 진지한 여가, 레크리에이션 전문화 그리고 몰입은 유의한 상관관계를 보였다. 또한 몰입은 진지한 여가와 레크리에이션 전문화에 직․간접적으로 정적 영향을 주고 있었고, 진지한 여가는 레크리에이션 전문화에 정적인 영향을 미치고 있었다. 이에 따라 본 연구에서 제시한 연구모형은 적합한 것으로 판단되었다. 본 연구의 결과는 여가활동에서의 몰입경험이 보다 고차원적인 여가활동참여를 가능케 하며 몰입경험은 진지한 여가와 레크리에이션 전문화를 촉진시키는 중요한 변인임을 제시하고 있다.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to investigate the structure-model of serious leisure, recreation specialization, and flow. As the first part of the study, literature studies for the relationships regarding the three factors of serious leisure, recreation specialization were used for theoretical verification and followed by the set-up of the research model. To verify the research model a total of 413 adults aged over 20 were selected for survey study and the data were used in the analysis. Using SPSS 18.0 and AMOS 7.0, Confirmatory factor analysis, reliability analysis, correlation analysis and structural equation model were applied. Study results indicated that there was a significant correlation between serious leisure, recreation specialization, and flow. Also flow had significant direct and indirect effects on serious leisure and recreational specialization. Finally, the research model proposed in this study was considered acceptable. The results showed that flow experience in recreational activity enables participation in a more high-level leisure activity and that flow experience is an important determinant to facilitate serious leisure and recreation specialization.
