본고는 ‘글의 진술방식’ 수업을 위한, PBL 수업계획 및 문제개발을 중점으로연구한 논문이다. 본고에서 이 두 가지에 중점을 둔 이유는 대학 글쓰기 과목에서 실제 PBL로 수업할 수 있는가, 그리고 수업을 했을 때 그것이 학습목표를 잘달성할 수 있는가 하는 점을 미리 점검하기 위한 것이다. 이를 위해 PBL의 수업계획을 구체적으로 제시하였으며, PBL 문제개발 방법 및 유의점 등에 대해 서술하였다. 특히 문제개발과 관련하여 문제의 난이도, 전공과 관심사 고려, 현실과상상의 문제 등 세 가지로 나누어 문제개발의 방법 및 실제 수업 샘플을 들어 설명하였다. 결국 PBL 문제개발은 이러한 사안을 모두 고려하여 참신한 문제, 수업목표에 부합하는 문제를 만드는 것에 집중해야 한다. PBL을 활용한 글의 진술방식을 통해, 다양한 글의 종류를 경험할 수 있다. 또 글쓰기의 능력을 증진시킬수 있는 한 방법이 될 수 있다는 점, 무엇보다도 학생들이 흥미를 갖고 수업에임한다는 점, 수업 목적을 효과적으로 달성할 수 있다는 점 등에서 그 가치와 의미가 있다. 따라서 효과적인 수업이 이루어지기 위해서는 수업계획 및 문제개발이 무엇보다도 중요하다.
Abstract
This paper focuses on PBL lesson planning and problem development for ‘the way of writing statement’ class. The emphases in these two chapters are to demonstrate that you can actually teach in PBL in college writing courses and that you can achieve your learning goals well in your class. For this purpose, the lesson plan of PBL is presented concretely, and how to develop PBL problem and its points of importance are described. In particular, I discussed the problem development methods and practical instructional samples in terms of difficulty of problems, consideration of major and interests, and problems of reality and imagination. In the end, PBL problem development should focus on creating novel, meet the lesson objectives problems by considering all these issues. A PBL-based method of writing can experience various kinds of writing. This is a value and meaning in that it can be a way to improve the writing ability, above all, that the students are interested in the class, and that they can achieve the purpose of the class effectively. Therefore, it is important that the lesson planning and problem development are more important than the effective class.
