플립드 러닝 운영의 효율적 교수법 방안 모색－『사고와 표현』 2를 중심으로－

본고는 조선대학교 『사고와 표현』 2 플립드 러닝의 운영 사례를 통해 플립드러닝이라는 교수법이 『사고와 표현』 2 교과목에 효율적인가에 대해 분석하고자 한다. 좀 더 효율적인 교수법을 모색하여 수업의 효과를 높이고자 하는 데 이 글의목적이 있다. 플립드 러닝(Flipped Learning)은 학교에서는 과제해결 및 다양한 학습활동을, 집에서는 온라인 강의를 통해 사전학습을 하는 수업방식이다. 이 교수법을 『사고와 표현』 2에 적용하기로 한 이유로 첫째는 학생들이 강의 내용을 숙지하고 옴으로써 교실 안에서 행할 학습활동(토론, 글쓰기)등이 원활하게 이루어질 수 있다는 것이다. 둘째는 학생들의 학습활동이 교실 안에서 이루어짐으로써 학생들에게즉각 피드백이 가능하다는 것이다. 셋째는 학생참여 수업의 적절한 교수법이라는것이다. 넷째는 교수자가 학생 활동을 지원하는 촉진자 및 조언자로서의 역할을중심으로 수업을 진행할 수 있다는 것이다. 플립드 러닝 교수법을 적용한 결과로 학생들은 대체적으로 긍정적인 반응을 보였다. 학생들은 팀별활동이 자기주도 학습에 긍정적인 영향을 주었으며, 이는 효과적인전략이었다고 하였다. 또한 플립드 러닝 방식이 개별적인 선수학습을 가능케 하면 서 본 수업에서의 실습을 수행하는 데 긍정적으로 작용한다고도 하였다. 다만 플립 러닝 수업과 관련하여 몇 가지 개선한다면 좀 더 효율적인 수업을 운영할 수 있을 것이다. 그 개선사항으로 첫째, 플립드 러닝 수업은 학생의 자발적, 능동적 참여가 필수적이다. 둘째, 피드백 가능한 만큼의 학생 배정이 필요하다. 셋째, 글쓰기 수준에 따른 분반 구성이다. 넷째, 효과적인 동영상의 시간과 기술이다. 이와 같이 플립드 러닝 수업을 교과목에 도입하는 데에는 더욱 신중하고 면밀한 검토가 이루어져야 할 것이다.
Abstract
Flipped learning is a method of pre-learning through homework and various learning activities at home and online lectures at home. The purpose of this study is to analyze whether the teaching method called flipped learning is appropriate for the “thinking and expression”2 course through the operation case of flipped learning in Chosun University’s “thinking and expression”2 to improve the effectiveness of the class with more efficient teaching method. The reason for applying the flipped learning method, “Thinking and Expression”2, is firstly that students learn and follow the lectures so that learning activities (discussion, writing) in the classroom can be performed smoothly. The second is that students’ learning activities are done in the classroom, which gives them instant feedback. Third is the proper teaching method of student participation classes. Fourth, instructors can conduct classes centering on their role as facilitators and advisors to support student activities. As a result of applying the flipped learning method, students generally responded positively. The students said that team work had a positive effect on self-directed learning, which was an effective strategy. In addition, the flipped learning method has positive effects on the practice of this class while enabling individual player learning. However, if you make some improvements with the flipped learning class, you will be able to run a more efficient class. First, flipped learning lessons require voluntary and active participation of students. Second, it is necessary to allocate the suitable amount of students who can get feed-back. Third is the division of class according to the level of writing. Fourth, the time of effective video and skill. Introducing flipped learning lessons into the curriculum will require more careful and careful review.
