글쓰기 평가의 문법 평가 준거 개발 연구 －대학 글쓰기를 중심으로－

본 연구는 글쓰기 평가에서 문법 평가 준거를 상세화하고 체계적으로 개발하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 연구 방법으로는 문헌 연구, 글쓰기 자료에 대한 질적분석, 평가 결과에 대한 통계 분석, 문법 전문가의 질적 검토 및 채점 수행, 개방형 질문지법 등을 다각적으로 적용하였다. 이를 통해 문법 평가 준거의 초안 도출, 수정안 정교화, 최종안 개발 및 타당성 검증의 과정을 거쳐 타당성과 실효성을 확보한 문법 평가 준거를 개발하였다. 평가 영역 ‘어문 규범’은 ‘어문 규범의 준수’를 평가 지표로 하여 맞춤법과 표준어 사용을 중심으로 채점 기준을 개발하였다. 평가 영역 ‘문장의 정확성’에는 평가 지표 ‘문장 성분 호응의 정확성, 문장 구조의 정확성, 문법적 표현의 정확성’을 두었다. 그리고 각각에 대해 필수적 문장 성분의 누락 없는 호응, 적절한 접속 구조와 수식 구조 및 중의성이 없는구조, 문법적으로 정확한 조사와 어미를 중심으로 채점 기준을 개발하였다. 본 평가 준거는 채점 과정에서의 활용 가능성은 물론, 글쓰기를 위한 문법 교육 내용을 시사함으로써 문법 교육 환류적 의의를 가진다. 또한 문법 평가 준거의 구체화 및 적용 가능성을 입증함으로써 글쓰기의 다른 평가 영역의 준거 개발에도 실천적 기반을 제공한다.
Abstract
This study aims to elaborate and systematically develop grammatical evaluation criteria within writing assessment. The research methods included a literature review, qualitative analysis of writing samples, statistical analysis of evaluation results, qualitative review and scoring by grammar experts, and the use of an open-ended questionnaire method. Through these methods, the study proposes a set of practical grammar evaluation criteria developed through stages of drafting, refinement, finalization, and validation. The evaluation area “Language Norms” was developed with “adherence to language norms” as its evaluation indicator. The evaluation area “Sentence Accuracy” included the evaluation indicators of “accuracy in agreement among sentence elements,” “accuracy of sentence structure,” and “accuracy of grammatical expression.” The proposed criteria not only demonstrate applicability in scoring but also provide clear guidance for grammar instruction.
