在日中国女性形象的话语建构研究 - 以≪朝日新闻≫和≪读卖新闻≫为例-

미디어 속 여성 이미지는 미디어와 여성 연구에서 중요한 과제이다. 재일(在日) 중국 여성은 일본 외국인 여성 중 가장 큰 집단으로서, 이 집단에 대한 일본 뉴스 매체의 담론 구성은 주목할 만한 가치가 있다. 본고는 비판적 담론 분석의 연구 시각과 코퍼스 언어학의 연구 방법을 결합하여 일본 주요 신문인 ‘아사히신문’과 ‘요미우리신문’(2013-2023)의 재일 중국 여성 관련 기사를 분석한다. 분석 결과 사회질서를파괴하는 여성 범죄자 이미지, 수동적이고 남성의 지배를 받는 여성 피해자 이미지, 노동 권익이 심각하게 침해된 여성 노동자 이미지, 중일 우호 교류에 주력하는 여성이미지 등 4가지 유형의 재일 여성 이미지를 구축했다. '카테고리화(categorization)' '노미네이션(nomination)' 전략과 수동태 등의 담론적 표현, 직접 인용 및 인물 세부묘사 등의 서사 기법을 통해, 여성 이미지 구축과 함께 인종주의적 편견과 사회적성 편견을 심었다. 일본 미디어에 의해 표현된 재일 중국 여성의 이미지는 이 집단이 직면한 사회적 상황을 반영하는 것으로, 일부 선택적이고 편향된 보도는 사회 젠더 규범과 재일 중국 여성에 대한 일본 사람들의 인종주의적 편견을 크게 강화할수 있다.
Abstract
Representations of women in the news media is an important topic in feminist and gender media studies. Chinese women in Japan are the largest group of foreign women in Japan. The discourse construction of this group in the Japanese media is also an area of concern. This paper employs a combined approach of corpus linguistics and critical discourse analysis to scrutinize relevant reports on Chinese women in Japan in the mainstream Japanese newspapers Asahi Shimbun and Yomiuri Shimbun (2013-2023). Our investigation reveals that there are four types of images of Chinese women in Japan: (1) female criminals who disrupt social order, (2) female victims who are passive and subject to men, (3) female laborers whose labor rights are seriously violated, and (4) female figures committed to promoting Sino-Japanese friendship. Through discursive representations such as “categorization” and “nomination” strategies and passive voice, as well as narrative techniques such as direct quotations and characterization, the reports implant racist bias and gender bias while constructing the images of Chinese women in Japan. The image of Chinese women in Japan represented by mainstream Japanese media reflects the social conditions faced by this group. Some biased reports can significantly reinforce social gender norms and Japanese people's racial prejudices and stereotypes towards Chinese women in Japan.
