본고는 한국어교육 어휘 교육에의 활용을 위한 ‘N+N’ 구성 내의 N1과 N2 각각의 생산성을 분석하는 것을 목적으로 하였다. 이를 위해 우선, 한국어교육과 유의미하게 관련되며 구어성을 띠는 세부 코퍼스를 선정하고, 말뭉치별 고빈도 ‘N+N’의 순위별 목록의 생산성을 비교하였다. 세부 코퍼스는 일상대화, 온라인 메신저, 온라인 게시판 말뭉치이며, 각각의 고빈도 ‘N+N’ 구성의 생산성을 파악하고 이들의 함의를 논의하였다. 이를 통해, 말뭉치의 장르별로 고빈도 ‘N+N’ 구성의 세부 목록 및 생산력이 상이함을 확인하였다. 특히 일상대화 말뭉치와 온라인 메신저 말뭉치에 비해 온라인 게시판 말뭉치에서는 특정 주제의 어휘가 다수 발견되었다. 다음으로, 구어성이 높은 하위 코퍼스 목록 간의 중복도를 살피고 이를 분석하였다. 본 연구를 통해 추출한 명사의 생산성 정보는 한국어 학습자의 어휘 확장에 유용하게 활용될 수 있을 것이다. 또한 향후 한국어 교육용 ‘N+N’ 복합 구성의 목록 선정 시 본 연구 결과를 예비 목록으로 활용할 수 있다는 점에서 의의를 가진다고 하겠다.
Abstract
The purpose of this paper is to analyze the productivity of N1 and N2 each in ‘N+N’ compositions for Korean vocabulary education. Throughout the study, specific genres of corpora related to Korean education were selected, and the productivity of high-frequency ‘N+N’ compositions from each corpus were compared. Firstly, the productivity of frequent ‘N+N’ compositions from daily conversation, online messenger, and online post corpus was analyzed with the implication. It was verified that the lists and productivity of ‘N+N’ compositions differed across each corpus. Especially in the online post corpus, there were more theme-specific words compared to the others. Furthermore, some words in each list which were repeatedly found across different corpora were analyzed. The aspect of productivity of nouns discussed in this study can be significantly utilized for the vocabulary expansion of Korean learners. Additionally, the results of this paper are expected to be further used to develop a list of ‘N+N’ compositions for Korean education.
