본고는 박인환의 詩論과 詩를 相互 對話的 관계에 놓고, 그의 시적 코드의 변환 과정을 탐색하고 있다. 시론의 주체가 욕망하는 것은 ‘市民精神’과 ‘詩의 原始林’이다. ‘시민정신’은 미래 ‘希望’에 대한 주체의 내적 욕망을 외부 세계인 사회적 현실로 置換하는 ‘나－他者(우리)’ 코드를 산출한다. 이에 비해 ‘시의 원시림’은 그러한 욕망이 억압좌절되었을 때 오는 ‘不安’을 자기 내면화하는 ‘나－나’ 코드를 산출한다. 시적 주체는 이러한 境界美學을 수납하지만, 궁극에 가서는 이를 변증법적으로 합일하여 새로운 시적 코드를 창조한다. 즉, 해방정국의 시기에는 ‘미래 지향의 外接線’ 코드(나－우리)로써 시민정신을 구현한다. 戰後 時期에는 ‘미래 단절의 內接線’ 코드(나－나)로써 자아와 사회 현실을 모두 否定하는 내면 지향의 폐쇄된 욕망을 보여준다. 하지만 이러한 兩 極端의 코드는 木馬와 淑女에 와서 변증법적으로 통합되는 새로운 樣相을 보여주게 된다.
Abstract
This paper, focusing on his poetic theory and poetry, explores the changes in his poetic codes. What the poetic subject desires is the spirit of citizen and the forest of poetry. The spirit of citizen produces ‘I－the others’ code which shifts the internal desires of the subject for hope into the social reality, the outer world. On the other hand, the forest of poetry yields ‘I－I’ code which self-internalizes anxiety, which occurs when such hope is repressed and frustrated. The poetic subject accepts ‘this boundary aesthetics (hope and anxiety)’ and creates a new poetic code through dialectic. In his poetic codes, he pursues the spirit of citizen representing ‘I－the others’ code in the period of Korean Liberation. In the period of post-war, he shows closed desire which negates self and social reality, and represents ‘I－I’ code. Such bipolar codes, however, is changed into a new code made dialectically in “A Wooden Horse and a Lady.”
