朝鮮前期 通鑑學의 硏鑽에 대하여 - 世宗代의 通鑑書 刊行을 중심으로 -

Abstract

This article is to survey the history books concerning Tonjian published in Sejong Period, namely Zizhi Tongjian printed with the type of Gyeongja, Zizhi Tongjian with Gloss edited in Sajeongjeon hall printed with the type of Gabin, Zizhi Tongjian Gangmu with Gloss edited in Sajeongjeon hall printed with the type of Byeongja, Gangmu Faming Shufa printed with the type of Gabin, as a basic research on the studies on Tonjian history books in Early Joseon Period Zizhi Tongjian printed with the type of Gyeongja was published twice, namely 1422 and 1427. This is the first Tongjian book with gloss complied by Joseon scholars under the order of King Sejong. It was the result of study on Zizhi Tongjian at royal lecture. Continuous research on Zizhi Tongjian came to fruition with the publication of Zizhi Tongjian with Gloss edited in Sajeongjeon hall and Zizhi Tongjian Gangmu with Gloss edited in Sajeongjeon hall. Zizhi Tongjian with Gloss is presumed to be based on a Chinese edition published in Yuan Period. As to Zizhi Tongjian Gangmu with Gloss, its new edition was published again during King Jungjong and Myeongjong with adifferent constitution. As to Tongjian Gangmu Faming Shufa, it includes prefaces and the introductory notes etc. which is same to those that are included in Zizhi Tongjian Gangmu with Gloss. Tongjian Gangmu Faming Shufa is presumed to be complied by Joseon scholars and its publication date is supposed to be earlier than that of Zizhi Tongjian Gangmu with Gloss.
