본 연구는 눌재 박상의 율시에 나타나는 전절 구성 양상을 상이한 시상의 연결 방식과 유사한 시상의 전환 방식으로 나누고 각 효과를 살펴보았다. 상이한 시상의 연결 방식에는 세 가지가 있다. 첫째, 경련의 경물이 시간적 배경을 형성하여 함련의 정서가 지속되는 방식으로, 시적 상황에 시간의 흐름을 만들어 정서를 심화하였다. 둘째, 상반된 시상 사이에 공통 요소를 매개로 차이를 비교해 의미상의 연결을 이루는 방식으로, 한 시상이 다른 시상의 특성을 부각시켜 명확함을 형성하였다. 셋째, 경련의 시의가 함련의 시의를 재해석하여 통합된 의미 체계를 형성하는 방식으로, 기존 의미의 해체와 재구성을 통해 참신함을 만들었다. 유사한 시상의 전환 방식에도 세 가지가 있다. 첫째, 함련과 경련의 경물이 시간적 지표를 달리해 전환을 이루는 방식으로, 시간의 흐름을 통해 작자의 정서를 함축하였다. 둘째, 유사한 시상 간에 의미의 층차를 두어 전환을 안배하는 방식으로, 시의가 점진적으로 고조되도록 하였다. 셋째, 유사한 시상에서 범위를 축소하여 전환을 만드는 방식으로, 보편적 시상과 구체적 시상이 전제와 결론처럼 작용하여 논리적 당위성을 형성하였다.
Abstract
This study categorizes the transition patterns in the metrical poems of Nuljae Park-Sang into two types: connecting dissimilar poetic conceptions and shifting between similar ones, and examines the effects of each. There are three types of connecting dissimilar poetic conceptions. First, the scenery in the kyungryun (頸聯) forms a temporal background, allowing the emotion of the hamryun (頷聯) to be sustained and deepened through the passage of time. Second, a common element bridges contrasting poetic conceptions, enabling their differences to be compared and thus clarifying meaning. Third, the poetic conception in the kyungryun reinterprets and integrates that of the hamryun, creating freshness through the reorganization of existing meanings. Shifting between similar poetic conceptions also takes three forms. First, similar poetic elements appear in both the hamryun and kyungryun but are distinguished through different temporal indicators, thereby implying the author's sentiment. Second, a layered progression of meaning between similar poetic conceptions is arranged, creating a gradual intensification of poetic significance. Third, the scope of similar poetic conceptions is progressively narrowed, creating logical coherence akin to a premise and conclusion.
