대학생들의 창의적 능력과 창의적 성향에 관한 인식 조사

본 연구는 대학생들이 인식하는 창의적인 사람의 능력과 성향에 대해 조사하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 이러한 연구는 대학생의 창의적 역량 계발 교육을 실시하기 위한 기초연구로서 의미가 있다. 이를 위하여 남녀 대학생 929명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하고, 수집된 자료를 활용하여 대학생들이 인식하는 창의적인 사람의 능력과 성향에 대한 전체 경향을 분석하고, 성, 학년, 전공, 창의성수업 경험 여부에 따른 차이 검정(ANOVA, t-test)을 실시하였다. 분석 결과, 대학생들은 창의적인 사람들은 능력 측면에 있어서 비범하고, 경험이 필요하며, 관심 영역에서 창의성을 발휘하고, 창의성은 사고력의 일종이라고 보는 경향이 높았다. 이러한 경향성은 성, 학년, 전공, 창의성 수업 경험 유무에 따라 의미있는 차이가 나타났다. 또한 대학생들은 칭찬에 민감하고, 도전적이고, 자신감이 있으며, 호기심과 관찰력이 있고, 신중히 문제를 해결하는 것이 창의적 성향이라고 생각하는 경향을 보였다. 이러한 창의적 성향에 대한 인식은 성, 학년, 전공과 창의성수업 경험유무에 따라 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 대학생들의 창의성, 창의적인 사람에 대한 특성 인식에 대한 분석결과는 성, 학년, 전공에 따라 적절한 창의성 교육기회를 제공하는데 시사점을 줄 것으로 사료된다.
Abstract
This study was conducted to investigate the perception of creativity, understanding of creative ability characteristics, creative personality characteristics according to gender, years, academic speciality and the experience of creativity education in university students. A questionnaire was answered by 929(male;543, female;386) university students in Seoul. The data were analyzed with descriptive statistics(such as, frequency, Mean and SD), t-test, ANOVA, and schéffe's test analysis by SPSS 14.0. The major findings summarized as follows: first, there was a significantly different awareness of creative ability characteristics by their gender, years, major and the experience of creativity education. Second, students thought differently creative personality characteristics according to their by their gender, years, major and the experience of creativity education. This study would give some implications to develop creativity education program for university students. In addition, limitation of this study and the direction for future research were discussed.
