본 연구의 목적은 자아존중감과 창의적 인성 및 창의적 사고의 관계를 분석하는 것이다. 연구대상으로는 수도권에 소재한 한 대학에서 교양과목을 수강하고 있는 106명의 대학생을 선정하였으며, 측정도구는 Rosenberg(1965)의 자아존중감 척도, 하주현(2000)의 창의적 인성검사, 그리고 Urban와 Jellen (1996)의 창의적 사고 검사를 사용하였다. 본 연구에서의 주요 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 자아존중감과 창의적 인성 및 창의적 사고는 서로 정적 상관관계가 있었다. 둘째, 자아존중감은 창의적 인성을 매개변인으로 하여 창의적 사고에 영향을 주는 것으로 나타났다. 자아존중감과 창의적 인성 및 창의적 사고가 서로 밀접하게 관련되어있음을 확인한 본 연구의 결과는 창의성 교육의 방향이 어느 특정 요인의 증진에만 관심을 두는 방식으로 단편적인 노력을 기울이기보다는 좀 더 다각화된 연구결과의 축적을 기반으로 하여 종합화되어야 함을 시사하고 있다는 점에서 의의가 있다.
Abstract
The purpose of this study was to explore the relationships among self-esteem, creative personality, and creative thinking. The responses of 106 university students on RSE (Rosenberg's Self-Esteem Scale), CPS(Creative Personality Scale), and TCT-DP(Test for Creative Thinking-Drawing Production) were collected. The data were analyzed through Cronbach α coefficient, Pearson's correlational coefficient, t-test, regression and Barron & Kenny's mediational analysis by using SPSS 11.5 program. The major results of this study were as follows;First, there were significant positive relationships among self-esteem, creative personality, and creative thinking. Second, the effects of self-esteem on creative thinking were mediated by creative personality.
