목적: 본 연구는 피부미용실 현장에서 스파 마사지 체험이 고객의 주관적 만족도와 삶의 질 향상에 미치는 영향에 대하여 연구하고자 함에 있다. 방법: 본 연구를 수행하기 위해 참고문헌 고찰과 설문지를 개발하였다. 2019년 6월 동안 서울, 제주도 소재 스파 관리실을 대상으로 설문조사 하였다. 총 320부의 설문지를 배포하여 회수된 273부가 분석에 사용되었다. Cronbach's α값은 0.775에서 0.830이었다. 스파 마사지 체험 요인중 즐거운 경험 요인 4문항, 회피 경험 요인으로 4문항, 미용경험 요인으로 3문항을 설정하였고, 주관적 만족도 요인 중 감정 요인으로 4문항, 삶의 만족도 요인으로 3문항을 성정하였다. 삶의 질 요인으로 4개 문항을 설정하였다. 결과: 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째 스파 마사지 체험 하위 변수로써의 즐거운 경험 요인에서 스파 마사지 체험 후 주관적 만족도가 높았으며, 회피 요인에서 스파 마사지 체험 후 주관적 만족도가 높게 나타났다. 둘째, 스파 마사지 체험을 통해 삶의 질이 높게 나타났으며, 회피 요인에서 스파 마사지 체험 후 삶의 질이 높게 나타났다. 결론: 스파의 미용적 효과, 대중화, 보편화를 극대화 할 수 있는 다양한 프로그램 개발이 필요하다.
Abstract
Purpose: This study aimed to investigate efficient operating measures for the effect of spa massages on subjective satisfaction and improvement in quality of life for clients of the skin care salon industry. Methods: A literature review was performed and a questionnaire was designed to assess spa massage experiences, subjective satisfaction, and improvement in quality of life. Participants were selected using random sampling in Seoul and Cheju, South Korea. Of the 320 questionnaires administered in June 2019, data from 273 respondents were used in the final analyses. Factor analyses and multiple regression analyses were conducted to examine relationships between variables. Results: With regard to the correlation between the experience of a spa massage and subjective satisfaction and improvement in quality of life, clients answered that the massage experiences were pleasant and helpful in cultivating positive emotion and satisfaction from life. Conclusion: It is necessary to further develop the spa program to create an effective plan to increase the popularity of spa massages in South Korea.
