장애청소년의 개인·사회적 변인과 진로장벽, 진로결정 자기효능감, 진로준비행동 특성의 관계

초록

연구목적: 이 연구는 장애청소년의 개인․사회적 변인과 진로장벽, 진로결정 자기효능감, 진로준비행동 특성과의 관계를 알아보는 데 목적이 있다. 연구방법: 연구 대상은 부산, 울산, 경남 지역의 일반학교 특수학급과 특수학교 고등부와 전공과에 재학 중인 장애청소년 270명을 목적표집법에 따라 선정하였다. 연구도구는 진로장벽, 진로결정 자기효능감, 진로준비행동 척도를 본 연구에 알맞게 수정․보완하여 사용하였다. 연구기간은 2015년 11월부터 2016년 5월까지 약 6개월이 소요되었다. 초기 290부를 발송하여 275부가 회수되었으며(회수율, 95%), 최종 분석에는 270부가 사용되었다. 연구결과: 연구결과로 도출된 주된 내용은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 장애청소년의 진로장벽, 진로결정 자기효능감, 진로준비행 특성의 수준은 평균 점수보다 높게 나타났다. 둘째, 장애청소년의 개인적 변인인 학교급, 가정의 소득수준과 사회적 변인인 지역별, 진로교육 및 훈련경험에 따라 유의한 차이가 있었다. 셋째, 장애청소년의 개인적 변인인 장애유형, 학교급, 가정의 소득수준, 그리고 사회적 변인인 지역, 진로교육 및 훈련경험은 진로장벽, 진로결정 자기효능감, 진로준비행동 변인 간에 부적 또는 정적 상관이 있는 변인으로 밝혀졌다. 넷째, 장애청소년의 개인적 변인인 학교급, 장애유형과 사회적 변인인 지역과 진로교육 및 훈련경험은 진로장벽, 진로결정 자기효능감, 진로준비행동 변인에 부적 또는 정적 영향력을 미치는 변인으로 확인되었다. 결론: 이상의 결과에 근거하여 장애청소년의 진로장벽을 감소시키기 위한 방안을 강구하고, 진로결정 자기효능감 향상 및 진로행동을 강화할 수 있는 지원체계가 뒤따라야 한다는 실천적 함의를 제안하였다.

Abstract

Purpose: This study explored the relationship between adolescents with disabilities’ personal-social variables and characteristics of their career barrier(CB), career decision-making self-efficacy(CDMSE) and career preparation behavior(CPB). Method: 270 adolescents with disabilities were recruited from mainstream school’s special classes and special school’s secondary classes and majoring course classes in Busan, Ulsan, Gyeongnam region using purposive sampling method. In order to achieve the purpose, researchers modified and supplemented the scale of CB, CDMSE, and CPB. This study was conducted from November 2015 to May 2016. A total of 275 of 290 questionnaires were returned with a response rate of 95%. 270 questionnaires were used for the final analyses. Results: The results were as follows. First, the CB, CDMSE, and CPB of adolescents with disabilities were higher than the median score. Second, there were significant differences between personal variables(school grade, house income) and social variables(region, experience of vocational education or training). Third, the subject’s personal variables (type of disability, school grade, house income) and social variables(region, experience of vocational education or training) were negatively or positively correlated with the CB, CDMSE, and/or CPB variables. Fourth, the subject’s personal variables(school grade, type of disability) and social variables(region, experience of vocational education or training) were negatively or positively affecting CB, CDMSE, and CPB variables. It was concluded that the strategies which reduce CB of adolescents with disabilities are needed. Conclusion: Furthermore the support system preparation could play an important role in improving CDMSE and reinforcing CPB of adolescents with disabilities.
