초록
In this study, we investigated the skin soothing effects of cosmetic compositions containing extracts of fermented Bird’s Nest and Centella asiatica (C. asiatica ) against to sensitive skin and erythema. 33 volunteers were selected in 10s~30s adults on normal skin sensitivity and erythema. Volunteers divided into three groups that control group, group containing aloe (experimental group 1) and containing extracts of fermented Bird’s Nest and C. asiatica (experimental group 2). We measured the index of oil, moisture, erythema and melanin in facial skin at before and after the measurement. Control group were not all statistically significant on the index oil, moisture, erythema and melanin after 6 weeks. At experimental group 1 after 6 weeks, the moisture index showed statistically significant change but oil, erythema and melanin did not appear statistically significant change. Experimental group 2 were observed statistically significant changes to index of oil, moisture, erythema and melanin. Therefore, this study showed that extracts of fermented Bird’s Nest and C. asiatica might be help to improving sensitivity and redness of the skin.
