전환교육에서의 기관 간 협력에 관한 중등특수교사의 경험 분석

연구목적: 이 연구의 목적은 장애학생을 위한 전환교육에서의 기관 간 협력에 관한 중등특수교사의 경험을 탐색하고 의미를 도출하는데 있다. 연구방법: 연구참여자는 기관 간 협력 경험이 있는 중등특수교사 8명을 대상으로 개별면담을 실시하고, 연속적 비교분석법을 적용하여 질적분석을 실시했다. 연구결과: 분석 결과 4개의 대주제와 12개의 하위주제가 도출되었다. 첫째, 장애학생의 취업 및 진로탐색을 목적으로 지역사회 내 다양한 기관들과 협력체계를 구축하였다. 둘째, 장애학생의 전환 성과 가시화, 학교 내 전환교육의 확장, 교사의 전문성 신장과 같은 협력 주체들의 긍정적 변화를 발견했다. 셋째, 협력은 사적 관계망에서 시작하여 다양한 관계망으로 확산하였고, 기관 간 필요가 충족되는 관계에서 서로 윈윈하는 관계로 성장, 결국 적합한 협력의 관점을 형성하게 되는 협력의 전 과정이 나타났다. 마지막으로 협력 이면의 모습으로 특정 학생 중심, 정형화된 틀에 제한, 비공식적인 업무의 경계선이라는 어려움이 제시되었다. 결론: 연구결과를 바탕으로, 체계적 협력을 위한 전략 수립, 장애학생의 개별욕구에 근거한 협력 추진, 교사의 협력 역량 강화, 학교 차원에서 협력 업무의 공식화, 협력을 위한 중간관리조직 설치, 협업 기반의 마련을 위한 제반 과정 지원, 개별화교육계획에 기반한 협업 추진, 정부 및 시도 차원의 협력체계 구축 등의 방안을 제시하였다.
Abstract
Purpose: The purpose of this study is to explore and derive the meaning of secondary special educators’ experiences on interagency collaboration in the transition for students with disabilities. Method: A total of eight secondary special educators who had interagency collaboration experiences participated in individual interviews. A qualitative analysis was conducted, using a constant comparative method. Results: As a result, four major themes and 12 sub-themes were derived. First. a collaboration system was established with various community organizations for the purpose of employment and career exploration for students with disabilities. Second, this study found positive changes such as visualization of the transition outcomes of students with disabilities, expansion of transition education within school, and enhancement of teachers’ expertise. Third, the whole process of collaboration began with a private network and spread to a variety of networks, grew from a relationship that satisfies the needs of organizations to a win-win relationship with each other, and eventually formed an appropriate perspective of collaboration. Last, behind the collaboration, the difficulties of collaboration were specific student-focused opportunities, limited to a formal framework, and the boundaries of informal work duties. Conclusion: Based on the results, we presented the following: establishment of strategies for systematic collaboration, promotion of collaboration based on individual needs of students with disabilities, strengthening teachers’ expertise on collaboration, formalization of collaborative work, establishment of an intermediary management organization for collaboration, support for the collaboration system, collaboration based on IEP, and establishment of the collaborative system at the government level.
