초록

The purpose of this manuscript is to provide insightful implications to the field of HRD by reviewing the scholarly literature related to Community of Practices(CoPs). This study explores enablers and inhibitors of CoPs through literature review to facilitate CoP activities. The findings in this study conclude that CoPs are practical learning activities that organization members can learn and practice by sharing knowledge through interactions. CoP enablers are identified as organizational culture(trust in CoP), technology, homogeneity of task, policy support, flexible KM strategy, personal network, legitimate types of participation, and motivation. CoP inhibitors are unclear directions, boundaries, and hierarchical culture.
